Story
After spending her life in a large commercial breeding operation, Dolly is finally getting the chance to learn what comfort, safety, and love truly feel like. Dolly is an incredibly sweet, gentle dog who simply wants to be close to people. Since entering foster care, Dolly has slowly started coming out of her shell. She enjoys exploring the yard, relaxing in soft places to nap, and soaking up quiet affection from her caregivers. Her foster reports that she is gaining confidence every day. Dolly does have significant medical needs, and we want her future family to understand both the joys and responsibilities that come with loving her. She is currently receiving treatment for a number of health concerns, and her long-term prognosis remains uncertain. Despite these challenges, Dolly continues to show us that she still has joy, comfort, and love to give. What Dolly needs most now is kindness. She needs a family willing to meet her where she is, celebrate the good days, and make sure whatever time she has ahead is filled with comfort, compassion, and love.

Story
Mila came from a hard background and household life is still relatively new to her, which means she is learning things that other dogs take for granted: that quiet is safe, that people can be trusted, that a soft place to sleep is just hers now. She is doing that learning slowly and bravely and entirely on her own timeline, and it is a genuinely beautiful thing to watch. She startles easily and does best in a calm, predictable home without a lot of loud chaos or constant activity. She is not a dog who will walk in and immediately act like she owns the place. She is softer than that, and the people who understand that about her are the ones she will absolutely flourish with. Once she feels safe she stays close, offering quiet and steady company in the sweetest possible way. She is a top-tier snuggler and a deeply loyal little dog who simply wants a person to love and a peaceful place to belong. She does fine with other animals but it is clear that what she really wants is to be someone's one and only, not because she demands it but because she is finally ready to know what it feels like to be chosen. She is eating well, sleeping well, and working on house training. She is still adjusting to crate time and may bark when first left alone but she does settle, and because she is still learning how to live in a home, being safely contained when unsupervised is the right call for now. For the right person Mila is going to be an incredibly special companion. She is sweet and snuggly and quietly brave and she is ready for a home where she can finally exhale.

Story
Sully is a gentle, sunny boy who is figuring out just how good indoor life can be, and honestly he seems pretty pleased with what he has found so far. He is a little shy with new people at first but give him some patience and kindness and his soft, snuggly side comes right out. He loves lounging in sunny spots, going on peaceful neighborhood walks, and making friends with other dogs along the way. He is wonderful with kids, sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, and is working hard on his house manners with real eagerness to please. He came from a rough past so he is still building confidence and would do best in a calm home that lets him settle in at his own pace rather than throwing a lot at him right away. Once he feels safe he becomes a deeply loyal companion who wants to be near his people, and during thunderstorms he will find you and curl up beside you for comfort, which tells you everything you need to know about him. He is currently eating softened food while he continues gaining healthy weight, and he is doing great.
