Gus is a 1 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Miniature Poodle Mix (Cavapoo) weighing 14 pounds. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender. Gus is a shy & nervous boy and needs some work building his confidence. Another dog in the home would be perfect for Gus to learn from as he is very submissive. Once he gets to know you he likes to be in your lap, by your feet, under your feet and will stick to you like velcro. He's a very sweet boy, likes to give kisses. Playful with stuffy toys and loves his nyla bone. He's knows the command sit and is treat motivated. Has been to puppy obiedene training but we think he forgot it all! Crate trained. Will need regular professional grooming. Can be fearful of men. Likes to be on the furniture. Needs work on his leash manners-did we mention he likes to be under your feet?His adoption fee is $250, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! The Humane Society of Sandusky County is open Monday -Friday 1pm - 5pm and Saturdays from 1pm - 4pm. Also, be sure to check us out on FaceBook!
