Meet Dude, a lovable 11-month-old dog who came to us as an owner surrender after his beloved owner passed away, leaving him without a home when no family members could step in. Now, he’s eagerly waiting for his forever home where he can thrive and be cherished. Dude is an affectionate companion, ready to become your loyal best friend. Due to his socialization gaps during his critical puppy years, he can be a bit anxious when faced with new experiences. However, with patience and understanding, he learns that not everything is to be feared. He needs to find a home that can provide the time and gentle guidance he needs to build confidence in navigating the world around him. For this reason, we feel that a fenced yard would be the best option for him and possibly another dog in the family to share the yard with! Currently, Dude is being fostered with three other dogs, and he coexists harmoniously with them, showing his friendly and adaptable nature. However, he appears to be wary of cats, so if you have a feline friend, a gradual introduction would be necessary to help ease any apprehension. If you’re looking for a loving companion who just needs a little extra support, Dude might be the perfect addition to your family! Dude has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, & Heartworm tested, and has also been on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $750.00, which includes his health records!
