WARM, EAGER-TO-PLEASE COMPANION DOB 5/17/24, weight 16 lb. Hey there, everyone! I’m Rudy, a friendly, affectionate, and playful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/ Shetland Sheepdog mix fella who has the Blenheim coat color and texture of a Cavalier but the long, wedge-shaped muzzle, semi-pricked ears, and bushy tail of a Sheltie. My sweet, perky expression draws everyone to me, and I soon become their warm, eager-to-please companion. I’m devoted to my foster mom and get along nicely with her resident cats and grandkids. I’m young and frisky, so I love to play with other dogs. Cavaliers are an active breed, so we enjoy a frolic in the back yard or a squirrel chase. However, depending on our owner’s lifestyle, we’re adaptable: we can be upbeat athletes with active owners yet shameless couch potatoes with homebodies. A Good Samaritan found me wandering in her neighborhood and did her due diligence in trying to find my owners, but to no avail. I came to Foster Mom already house-trained, kennel-trained, and leash-trained, so I’ve been an easy addition to her household. Now I’m ready to bring my sparkling presence and gentle companionship to my new family. Could that be you?
