Story
Clara is a very sweet dog with a very sweet smile. She loves to love. However, she gets jealous of others, specifically of cats, babies, and any dog who comes near her food or kennel. Since she has snapped at my baby, I am worried that when my baby is more mobile she will try to pet Clara through her kennel and get bitten. Clara loves exploring, long walks, and needs space to run. She is a good guard dog, but is very smart (she will open doors). We have tried putting Clara through training programs, but when it comes to cats and the baby, she is not improving. She sometimes lets the baby pet her while I am holding her now, but still gets very angry if she is near her space. Clara has been my best friend for years and now I do not have the time like I used to for her. I got her from the Humane Society when she was 4 months old in January 2022. She would prefer a home with a yard, no other animals and no kids.

Story
🌼 Hospice Foster or Adopter Needed: Daisy & Molly 💔🐾 Meet Daisy (10 yrs, 40 lbs) and Molly (9 yrs, 66.5 lbs)—a precious, bonded senior pair whose world was turned upside down when their beloved owner passed away. Now they’re grieving and confused, quietly whimpering in their kennel when left alone. All they want is to be back in a home—together. 💛 Daisy is a gentle, gorgeous gal with kind eyes and a sweet soul. 🖤 Molly is a big baby with a heart of gold—she tried to curl up in a lap just to feel close to someone. These girls are used to constant companionship and are incredibly loving, loyal, and affectionate. They’re the kind of dogs who just want to be near their people, soaking up attention and giving love in return. We’re looking for a special foster or adopter to welcome them home. They’re deeply bonded and need to stay together. Whether you can give them forever or just a peaceful place to rest and be loved, they’ll be so grateful. HCH provides all food, supplies, and medical care for fosters. 📞 Text/call (928) 821-5507 📧 foster@highcountryhumane.org 🏡 Shelter open 11–5, every day They’ve lost everything—but maybe they’ve been waiting for you. 💕
