Dexter is the life of the party, but goofy as can be, and the sweetest boy ever. He can play and play, then is happy to snuggle in your arms being an affectionate little guy and getting belly rubs. Dexter will need an active home that has the time and energy to devote to Dexter. He would enjoy having a yard and another dog to play with. He is possibly a lab mix and is about 4 months old (5/4/24) and will probably be a medium size boy when full grown. Dexter walks well on a leash and would like his new family to take him for walks so he can meet the neighbors and make new dog friends. You can apply on line at www.hsvawl.org by completing the Adoption Application on the home page.May 10, 2024, 6:33 am

Come meet Velvet. She has been the best mother to her 8 puppies but now it's time to move on to be a very special part of a family! She has a beautiful, thick black coat that is velvety soft. She is very cute with one ear up and one down. She's quite the talker and has the sweetest personality. She is good with other dogs of all sizes as well as with cats. She has a calm demeanor and really good house manners. She also rides well in a car. She is a good leash walker and does not pull at all. Velvet is heartworm positive but the AWL will provide all of the treatment needed to be heartworm free. She's a great medium size girl of about 50 pounds. After her puppies are weaned, Velvet will be spayed and ready for adoption.
