Story
Name: BuddyBreed: Lab/Pit mixSex/Age/Weight: Male/8/70lbs appxVetting: Has been neutered and all other vetting will be updated 03/04/2023House/Crate Trained: Yes, to both.Dogs/Cats/Children: Buddy is very timid and skittish around other dogs. He does however do really well with cats and children.Energy Level: He is very mild for the most part. He does enjoy running in the back yard and throwing his toys in the air to catch when he needs exercise. Before FAR/My history: He was part of a litter being given away as a puppy in front of Ingles in Gray GA. We took him in as a pet for our daughter. When she moved out, he did not handle apartment living and we took him back in. He is a wonderful dog but just isn’t feasible for us to continue to keep him.Training Status/Commands: He will sit, shake, high five, catch treats mid-air, he knows to come inside when commanded and does walk with a leash. Working On: Walking better on his leash and not barking every time someone comes to the door.Things I Like: My toy Mr. Cow, my heavy rope, snuggles and pets and hugging my humans.Thing I Don’t like: Squirrels, my nails being cut, my paws being touched. I don’t like baths but will get in as soon as I’m told but won’t let you dry me with my towel.Things That Make My Humans Happy: That I’m such a sweet boy that genuinely loves everybody.Ideal Family/Home: A single dwelling one dog family. Special Notes: Buddy suffers from anxiety and separation anxiety at times. This was the only reason my daughter couldn’t keep him because he was a noise issue. If I could get my husband to agree to keep him, I would never let him go.If you are interested in giving Buddy a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer.
