He’s friendly with other dogs and happiest when he has company—he doesn’t do well left alone for long periods. Greteman Ins & Realty has kindly sponsored his adoption fee. Personality and behavior • Temperament: Calm, affectionate, easygoing • Energy: Moderate — loves swims and relaxed walks; enjoys sniffing and moseying rather than high-intensity exercise • Dog socialization: Good with other dogs; enjoys canine company • Separation: Dislikes being alone; best in homes where someone is home often or where another dog provides company Ideal home • Household with someone who can provide regular companionship (work-from-home, flexible schedule, or another dog) • Access to safe water for swims or regular trips to a dog-friendly lake or pond • Home with a fenced yard or regular leashed outings for his moseying adventures Care notes • Likely thrives with daily walks, play in water, and gentle training/positive reinforcement • Regular social time with people and other dogs will keep him happiest • Ask the shelter about Nexus’s current vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchip status before adoption
