Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

This amazing big boy needs a place to lay his head. Meet Mr. Eggerson Keaveny, the coolest guy around - his namesake’s video is attached. He is looking for a foster or an adopter. Eggie is a very dark chocolate lab probably with some mastiff mixed in. He’s a four year old who weighs over 90lbs. He LOVES children and playing with toys. I trained him to walk on a Halti and taught him several tricks (his favorite is playing dead 😆). Eggie lives for belly rubs and talking to you, he’s adorably sassy 🐶❤️. Eggie’s new home should be active and with him more than gone. He would love a large family to himself with kids to play with him. He does require a six foot fenced in yard since this big boy can jump a lower one. He loves food and has learned tricks. As you can see from the pictures he’s fun to dress up and loves water. Eggie does have a prey drive so no cats or little animals please. He is crate and house trained.

Hi everyone, Still rio is waiting for a home. Unfortunately I don’t see any potential adopters. Meet Gus (though he doesn't yet know his name), A 9 month old snuggle bug weighing about 35 pounds.  He's had a rough start to life as he was found as a puppy in an abandoned home and then hit by a car in his precious foster home.  He had surgery for his broken hip on December 2nd and is doing great and has the all clear from the vet.  He loves playing with the dogs and has even learned how to use the doggy door.  He is currently in a house with 3 bigger dogs and a chihuahua. I also have free range chickens and he does great. He gets along with adults and kids of all ages.  I'm not sure if he is potty trained because he uses a doggy door so would ere on the side of no.  He has not been around cats, but I would think he would be ok as he is good with my Chihuahua.   The perfect home for him would be someone that is active but home a lot as he loves hanging out with his family and snuggling on their lap.  He also loves playing with dogs and finds comfort being with another dog so another dog is important.   If you think you’d be a good fit he won’t disappoint. Please fill out an application    All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative.  Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $150 for cats and $200 for dogs.
