Story
Meet Sie, a  14 lb., 1-year-old Chihuahua mix with a heart as golden as his short, blond coat. Despite his shy demeanor, Sie is a mellow companion who enjoys quiet evenings and gentle play!  Sie’s quiet nature makes him the ideal pet for someone seeking a calm and low-energy friend. He’s great with other dogs and cats! His gentle spirit is a testament to his resilience, and he's ready to bring warmth and companionship to his forever home. Sie’s adoption means gaining a loyal friend who will offer unconditional love and companionship! (ME, 2/23/24)  **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  April 18, 2024, 6:43 pm

Story
Meet Leon, a sweet 4-year-old Chiweenie who needs a new home because of a change in his owner's circumstances. Although he may mark new territory, Leon is house trained. He is also crate-trained and, in fact, it is his place of solace. Although initially shy, he is a loving boy once he warms up to you. He is the perfect lap size, weighing in at just 15 pounds. Due to his petite size and because Leon gets anxious around young children, we ask that any kids in the home be older than 10 years of age. Leon also has a tendency to prefer women. He loves to go for walks and is good on a leash. He gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and is very treat motivated! Leon will make a wonderful companion. (RH 4/2/24) Lower Adoption Fee (includes transport): $250   **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **  April 18, 2024, 6:43 pm

Story
Vito is an exquisite boy! He is a 2-year-old Chihuahua and Pug mix who has reached his mature weight of 11 pounds. If there are children under 10 years of age in the home, they should have some experience with small dogs. Vito wears a medium-length, silky chocolate and white coat that he loves to have stroked. He loves to be around other dogs and people, and loves a good lap in which to cuddle up. His smiles are infectious. He is an independent boy who loves to use a doggy door. Vito's sweetness and playfulness will enrich anyone's life.  (ME, 4/12/24)     **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . Story
Silly is a Chiweenie that came from a severe hoarding situation. Poor Silly didn't even have a name until we rescued him and one of our teenage volunteers gave him his name, Silly loves to play and be loved on. Silly does have what we call a reactive personality. For that reason we are saying he needs to go to an experienced home where he can learn and thrive. Silly is really good with teenagers but has never met a small child. Silly is good with dogs as long as dont get in his face or growl at him. Silly is utd on shots and is neutered. With time, love and some patience, Silly will be a wonderful addition to any family. If you would like to know more about this little guy, please email us and we will send you an application.
