Story
We are taking on line applications only on Rosita an adorable 10 pound Chihuahua Mix. She was rescued from a situation where she was one of many. Her adoption was delayed as she was pregnant with four pups. Now she ls looking for a calm home where she can be special though she could share it with other dogs. Dog tests are always encouraged for people who have other dogs currently in the home. The chihuahua experts say these dogs are small, bold and courageous and make great pets placed when placed in appropriate homes. With that being said, they should placed in homes with older children only who are able to understand and respect these dogs that can snap back at rough play. Because these dogs can be clingy and sometimes underfoot, they can also present a concern to individuals with mobility concerns. If you feel you may be the right owner for this dog, please submit an application online, Her adoption fee is $125 and her date of birth is estimated to be 1/1/22..HSPC's adoption fee is currently reduced from $100 to $75 unless stated otherwise within the pet's description. Every pet that is available for adoption has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including heartworm preventative (canines). Adopters are required to schedule a wellness exam with their veterinarian at their cost within 7 days of adoption. We are currently closed to the public and we will only respond to inquiries accompanying an application submitted through warmhearts.org/adopt.
