Story
Zoey is a 2 yo chi/terrier mix, and weighs about 20lbs.   Spayed and current on her shots, her human mommy can no longer give her the quality of life and care she deserves.  She is friendly with other dogs, but needs to learn how to play as she has been an only dog.  Owner is not sure how she will o with cats, but she  loves to be in a lap, loves her food adn treats. uses a doggy door, and pee pads in her home.   She is shy at first but warms up once she gets to know you, in typical chihuahua fashion.  She has been around a 4yo briefly and seemed to be okay, but tends to be a little nervous so older kids may be best. If  you are intersted in adopting her, please apply online at buttsmutts.com.  ##1728891##

Story
Name: Little Bit (nicknames ""Bit-Bit"")Breed: Chihuahua/Jack Russell TerrierSex/ Age/Weight: Female/3 years old/12 lbs.Vetting: UTD on vetting, rabies, heartworm negativeHouse trained/Crate Trained: House and crate trained. She loves her crate and that is her safety zoneDogs/Cats/Children: Loves other dogs. Don’t know about children or cats. Can be tested for both.Energy Level: She is pretty laid back, but she can do zoomies when she gets excited or you play with her. She will jump in your lap for loving. She will bark when the other dogs bark. Before FAR/My History: She was rescued by someone that got overwhelmed. She cowers when you go to pet her and not sure about her history. It might be that she was in a house with dogs that were a lot bigger than she was.Training Status/Commands I know: She knows sit, stop, down and no.Working on: Leash training and doing great. Cowers when you go to put her harness on. She was scared of the leash when it was first put on her. Hates the collar and leash, but doesn’t seem to mind the harness. She cowers when you go to pet her unless she is in your lap already.Things she likes: She like walking, playing with the other dogs at her foster home, chewing on nylabones, treats, getting some kisses and lovies.Things I don't like: Leashes but working on it. Loud noises. Working on meeting strangers. I stand back and see how the other dogs react before I will meet them.Ideal Family/Home: To have at least one other dog in the house so I have a playmate. Hopefully have a fenced in back yard to run and play in.Additional information: Little Bit is a really sweet dog. Just had a hard start to life. She has come out of her shell a lot since coming into her foster home. She would make someone a great companion. If you are interested in giving me a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer. Story
Lennon is a complex little guy. He was surrendered to us and we were told he was a very sweet little guy! Sometimes he is...he picks and chooses his people! What we can tell you is that he HATES his crate! Most of the time he will try to bite when in his crate, but outside of the crate he seems to do well. We do have a trainer working on him and his issues with the crate. We do not recommend a home with small children. Children over the age of 12 please. He also hates kitties! Our adoption package includes: -spay/neuter (when age appropriate) -microchip -full vetting (including up to date vaccinations & deworming) Visit our website to fill out an adoption application. You can also come visit our cats & dogs on Saturdays (10-2). www.humanesocietyhoco.org
