‘DETECTIVE’ THEMED PUPPY: Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 4 lbs. & growing Hi there, I’m one of the wonderful Detective themed puppies that came to Mostly Mutts from animal control at just 6 weeks old. I’m so grateful to be with Mostly Mutts now and I’m having tons of fun in my foster home and counting down the days until I find my new family! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I love my siblings and would likely enjoy another dog in my new home if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I love the gentle 9- and 12-year-olds in my foster home, so if you have kids, let’s meet and best no very young kids that may fall on me as I’m very small. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m one of the sweetest little puppies you’ll ever meet – fluffy, adorable, lovable, and full of playful puppy energy! My foster says I’m the “brawn” of the operation – lol! I’m a jump-first, think-later kind of guy who charges into life with enthusiasm and confidence. I’m the mouthiest of the bunch and love to chew and investigate things with my mouth, including forearms, shoes, and anything else I can reach, so I’ll need a family that’s ready to give me guidance, training, and plenty of appropriate things to chew. I can be a bit of a fun wild child, but I’m also easygoing, fun-loving, and so cute that it’s hard not to smile at my antics. Since I’m still tiny, I can easily fit under couches and chairs, so my future family will want to keep an eye on me during my puppy adventures! / Energy level: 4-6, sometimes a little more. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s do some training together once I’ve had all of my puppy shots. / You can crate train me. / I’m just a baby, so I’ll need my new family to potty train me – and please stay close by as the birds of prey could take interest in me since I’m so small. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love toys and am very curious about the world around me, always interested in exploring my surroundings and discovering new things. I enjoy playing, running, and having all kinds of puppy fun, though I still spend a lot of my day sleeping since I’m so young. One of my favorite things is belly rubs – I absolutely love them! In fact, if you rub my belly long enough, I just might fall asleep right in your lap. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped, but I’m a bit too small to be neutered right now, so I’ll be neutered in a few months with the Mostly Mutts veterinarian – so local adoption only.
