MEET JERSEY & JET! This bonded pair of Chihuahuas/Chiweenies need a foster or forever home! They were rescued from a crowded California shelter, and they are very bonded. Jet is a 1-year-old male and Jersey is a 6-year-old female (per the shelter paperwork). Jersey could be his mom. We would love to find a home for them together. They are loving, affectionate and amazing dogs who deserve the very best home together. They are currently still in California (just rescued), but can be transported to Oregon or Washington. They each weigh about 16 lbs. Please email for an application.

MEET MILO & OSCAR! These sweet 2-year-old bonded brothers need a foster or forever home! Milo & Oscar were rescued about a year ago from a California shelter, and they are now in Washington State. They were adopted but are losing their home due to unforeseen circumstances (no fault of their own), and we are currently looking for a foster or forever home for them. Both dogs are extremely affectionate and like to be on someone’s lap or to be petted or scratched. They’re both great with new people, and they love everyone. Milo & Oscar also follow commands such as sit, stay, and come. They’re very good about coming when called. Oscar, who is about 21 lbs., is a bit more athletic and will be the first to race outside and explore the yard. Milo, who is about 13 lbs., is more playful, loves to play with his toys (and sometimes destroys them), and is almost always the first to instigate playing with Oscar. They’re both very good about having their nails trimmed and getting brushed. Neither likes getting a bath too much, though! They are also crate-trained and they sleep close together at night. Meet Rusty! Rusty is a charming 6-year-old, chocolate-colored Chihuahua weighing in at a lovable 19 pounds. This little guy is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend who loves to be by your side. Rusty enjoys lounging on the couch, bed, or even right in your lap, making him the perfect cuddle buddy. Rusty is a social butterfly and has already made friends with the foster sibling, the Cocker Spaniel. Although he doesn't ask to go out, he hasn't had any accidents inside and goes outside when taken. An explorer at heart, Rusty loves to investigate his surroundings. He's also treat motivated, which makes training a breeze. While he enjoys the occasional play run, Rusty prefers chilling with his people over anything else. He's not a big chewer and behaves well when there's food around. Rusty is great with other dogs but would do best in a home without cats. Foster Location: Boise ID Age: Approximately 3 years old Breed: Chihuahua Mix Size: 22 pounds Vaccinated, microchipped Adoption fee: $75 DO NOT email us, you must fill out an application if interested: Adoption Application: https://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Betty is a three year-old roly-poly Chihuahua mix. She is energetic and lively. Betty was born without eyeballs, so she is blind. But her other senses are keen and well honed. Betty also has deformed legs that caused her gate to be slower and less efficient than your average four-legged creature. She learns her surroundings quickly and has even surprised her foster parent by teaching herself how to use the dog door. Betty goes to the park every day to get exercise. She loves being in the grass and basking in the sunshine. Goin go on walks is not Betty’s style. She would rather run for short distances and then sit down and rest. The couch is Betty’s favorite place to snuggle. She loves to sit in your lap, roll over onto her back and have her belly rubbed. She loves to be held and sometimes she gets to go for a ride in a dog bag that her foster parent wears around her shoulders. If it’s not too hot outside, Betty also enjoys sitting on the patio of a winery or a brewery. She is social and likes to be pet by everyone. Betty currently lives with a couple of other dogs. Sometimes Betty shows aggression by running toward a dog and growling. However, this behavior has gotten better over time and with continued love, and behavioral correction, it should continue to improve. Although crate trained, Betty will sometimes pee on soft surfaces that are not in her crate, like other dogs’ beds. So, creating a regular potty schedule will be important for Betty, she does GREAT with a regular potty routine. Betty has not been spayed yet as our vet was concerned about surgery at her size. She is currently on a weight management dog food, getting exercise and is losing weight slowly. The rescue will arrange to have her spayed once she hits a better weight at no cost to the adopter.
