Story
Cute lil mama alert! Misty Nova is approximately 2 years old, 17 pounds, and we believe he to be a chihuahua / pug mix, but rescue is best guess. Misty would cherish being the center of your world after you win her over with lots of love and patience. She bonds strongly with her person, and would be happy to spend her days being by your side. Misty would do great with another canine pal who also likes to keep to themselves or a kitty friend, but she would be fine as the only pet as well. Due to her small size we would recommend dog savvy children 10 and up who can respect her boundaries. Misty is working hard on her potty training and uses the doggy door. She will need help with crate training and socialization in her new home, but she is very easy on leash and would enjoy some easy strolls around the neighborhood. If you've been looking for an easy and adorable little companion, Misty is your girl! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/663249434c4b347387058122 Please email kari@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption to anywhere in the US. We transport near or into NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our dogs and cats are brought to you in style by a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. We can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 13,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. Story
Adorable Simba is a young adult chihuahua. He transferred to us from an overcrowded shelter and has been so grateful to be foster care since he arrived. Simba loves to cuddle up on the couch and hang out with the other dogs. He enjoys all people and has been very easy going. He is based in Boise, but is available throughout the PNW for direct adoption with transport included at no extra charge. Neuter, microchip, and current vaccines all included in his adoption fee. Please start with the adoption application. Www.freedomboundhounds.com/adopt.

Story
One look at those ears, that smile, that face is all it takes for Bagel to steal your heart. This cutie pie is pint-sized but BIG in attitude and personality! The only requirement Bagel has is that you must have access to toys. Lots and lots of toys. This shouldn’t be an issue because when you give her one and see her sweet puppy face light up, it will all be worth it. She loves a toy basket or box, specifically, because she will insist on reaching in and taking them out one-by-one – it’s so entertaining to watch! She will spread her toys out and play with all of them! See her personality here: https://youtu.be/FQFO7WQouSs We have no idea about her breed, but she does have pretty small paws so we don’t think she will grow to be larger than 30 pounds but we cannot be sure. Her siblings have scruffy hair and her hair is a little bit scruffy, which is why we went with Chihuahua schnauzer. But truly, we cannot be sure since she is a rescue. Bagel loves to be held and snuggled close – this is one affectionate puppy! Her day foster family has three adult dogs and Bagel was friendly but submissive. She was curious and confident enough to sniff and investigate, but was not overly excited around them – she will do well in a family with other dogs and soon be part of your pack! This playful puppy dog is a beautiful brown colour with black on her snout and around her eyes – her ‘eyebrows’ wiggle with her expressions and it’s adorable. She has white at her chin and on her chest, with only the slightest of white pedicures. Her brown tail with black at the tip is always a blur because this happy girl is the queen of tail wags, and we wouldn’t change a thing about it. Bagel is currently just 5 months old and only about 15-20 pounds, and we don’t think she’ll get too much larger. She is definitely the smallest of her litter. We know she’s a mix, but we are not sure what kind – do you see Chihuahua ears like we do? Could she a mini Shepherd mix? With rescue, it’s always a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one of the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. Bagel is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Story
Single, brown eyed male seeking a quiet partner to watch Netflix and chill. Must be willing to give belly rubs while I wiggle around in the grass. In return I will love you with my whole heart for the rest of my life! A little bit about me: I am a shy 5 year old guy being fostered in Houston, Texas. I get along great with my current roommates (small dogs that are guys & gals). I am not super athletic and don’t really care to run around and play with them. I would rather keep to myself, smelling flowers and looking for lizards while they run. My foster parents have little kids who I enjoy when they are calm and quiet. I love pets and will sit on the couch and take it all in!! When things get hectic, I find a quiet spot under the bed to chill out until things get quiet again. I am crate trained and potty trained, making me a great catch! If you pick me, our days will be filled with car rides for a morning pup cup from the coffee shop and afternoon runs to grab an ice cream treat. Afterwards, we can stroll in the park. I am not a leader, I am a follower and will stick with you. I am a little shy, but with the right partner, I know I will gain more confidence. Another great thing about me is that I would be happy in a house with a yard, or an apartment as long as we can take leisurely strolls and bask in the sun for a bit together. I am quiet and won’t bother the neighbors. If we sound like a match made in heaven, apply below!
