Story
Paco is a purebred long-haired Chihuahua! His birthday is November 25, 2021. He is four years old. I have been his only owner. I have two children and a cat. He’s been socialized as my sister has two Rottweilers and a cat and he does fine with other animals. He’s very playful. He loves to go on car rides and walks. I’ve always had a dog door and he’s been able to go in and out and his potty trained. He doesn’t chew on things. He’s a great companion animal!

Story
HI - I'M VITO! I'm a cute all-white 2-year-old Chihuahua, likely mixed with Italian Greyhound due to my longer legs! I'm a sweet, sweet boy - I get along great with other dogs and I love people. I was found as a stray and my owners were never found - so now I'm ready for a new start on life. If you'd like to adopt me, please email for an application. I weigh only 12 lbs. I'm currently in California but can be transported to Idaho.

Story
INTRODUCING ODIN Odin is a 2.5-year-old, 18 lb Chihuahua/Border Collie mix with a big heart packed into a compact little body. This sweet, sensitive boy is available for adoption through Paws Rescue Inc. Odin is incredibly cuddly and deeply devoted to his people once he feels safe. He’s smart, eager to learn, and full of playful energy. He loves toys, enjoys engaging with his humans, and would especially thrive with another dog around his size after slow, proper introductions. Odin is looking for a patient, kind adopter who will advocate for him and continue helping him build confidence. He hasn’t been exposed to much in his young life, but with guidance and consistency, he truly shines. Sensitive dogs like Odin form the most incredible bonds — and he is absolutely worth it. Knows: sit, come, wait, off, and up Great leash manners and solid recall Housetrained Settles quickly in a crate (though it’s not his favorite) Needs regular exercise and mental enrichment (otherwise socks become fair game!) Requires a securely fenced yard Odin does best with slow introductions to other dogs, especially larger ones, but once comfortable, he loves to play and snuggle. Older, dog-savvy children may be a good fit with supervision. Cats and chickens will require supervision while his behavior is assessed. His foster mom is even offering a few free training sessions (in the Boise area) to help his adopters start off strong and set him up for continued success. If you’re ready to adopt a sensitive, loyal little guy who will love you with his whole heart, Odin may be your perfect match. 🐾

Story
MEET BENNY BOY! 🐾 Benny is a 2½-year-old, 18-pound Border Collie/Chiweenie mix who is available for adoption through PAWS Rescue inc. He previously lived mostly outdoors with his brothers, a goat, and a cat best friend — but still enjoyed snuggling up in bed with his human at night. Since entering foster care, Benny has made wonderful progress: ✨ Kennel trained ✨ Learning leash manners ✨ Working on polite greetings with people and dogs ✨ Eager to please and quick to learn He’s mostly even-tempered — active but calm — and truly thrives when he’s near his person. He may be a little unsure at first, but he warms up quickly and absolutely loves cuddle time. He’s learning to eat from his own bowl, continue basic commands, and build confidence in new situations. Benny hasn’t experienced much of the world yet, but he’s adapting quickly and soaking everything in like a sponge in a compact little body. He’s also discovered how much he loves toys! He would do well as a solo dog or in a pack, but he prefers companionship — whether that’s another playful dog or an active human to share daily adventures with. Benny is looking for a patient, committed family who will continue reinforcing his training and help him keep exploring the big world around him. He’s unique, smart, and absolutely adorable. *Fenced yard required*

Story
INTRODUCING TILLY🐾 Tilly is the seven month old spayed female Pomchi. She is a spunky, smart, active girl who needs time to trust as she had very little human contact for the first several months of her life. Tilly has done well in her foster home once she learned to trust her foster mom. Tilly is very curious about all thing and needs a properly fenced yard and stimulating toys. Like all puppies one needs to keep on eye on them. Tilly is fearful of being picked up or pet by someone she hasn’t had a chance to learn to trust, so an adjustment period is needed. Tilly has done well with the 3 dogs in her foster home but can get overwhelmed when meeting new dogs outside of her home environment. Tilly does well with cats but is still learning proper cat etiquette and will sometimes chase them. Tilly is potty trained and knows how to use a dog door but is still a puppy so she may have an accident in a new home to start. She is doing well with learning how to ask to go out when the dog door is closed. Tilly goes on daily walks and loves car rides. *Fenced yard required *Another dog in the home is required *Best suited for a home with respectful children ages 8 and up

Story
MEET MILO! 🐾 Milo is a 6-year-old Chihuahua/Beagle mix weighing 22 lbs, looking for his forever home through PAWS Rescue Inc. This little guy is as loyal as they come — he just wants to love and be loved in return. His foster mom says if he had a nickname, it would be “Tape,” because he loves to stay close and connected to his person. Milo knows his basic commands like come, stay, and no. He’s both kennel-trained and house-trained and does well with other dogs. He’s still learning that cats are friends, but he’s getting there! Milo is a bit shy at first and may take a few days to bond, but once he trusts you, he’s the sweetest companion. He likes to alert you when someone’s at the door and will bark until he feels comfortable and safe with new visitors. Car rides make him a little nervous, but with patience and reassurance, he’s improving. *Fenced yard required*
