MEET BENNY BOY! 🐾 Benny is a 2½-year-old, 18-pound Border Collie/Chiweenie mix who is available for adoption through PAWS Rescue inc. He previously lived mostly outdoors with his brothers, a goat, and a cat best friend — but still enjoyed snuggling up in bed with his human at night. Since entering foster care, Benny has made wonderful progress: ✨ Kennel trained ✨ Learning leash manners ✨ Working on polite greetings with people and dogs ✨ Eager to please and quick to learn He’s mostly even-tempered — active but calm — and truly thrives when he’s near his person. He may be a little unsure at first, but he warms up quickly and absolutely loves cuddle time. He’s learning to eat from his own bowl, continue basic commands, and build confidence in new situations. Benny hasn’t experienced much of the world yet, but he’s adapting quickly and soaking everything in like a sponge in a compact little body. He’s also discovered how much he loves toys! He would do well as a solo dog or in a pack, but he prefers companionship — whether that’s another playful dog or an active human to share daily adventures with. Benny is looking for a patient, committed family who will continue reinforcing his training and help him keep exploring the big world around him. He’s unique, smart, and absolutely adorable. *Fenced yard required*

MEET PIP! Pip is an almost 2-year-old Chihuahua in need of a forever home! He was rescued from a crowded California shelter along with his buddy Squeak, a 1-year-old terrier. Squeak was adopted but Pip is still waiting for a home! Pip weighs only about 9 lbs., and is a friendly little guy, although a bit shy at first. He would do best in a quiet home where they can relax and get plenty of love and attention. He would do well as an only dog or with a female canine companion. He's currently in California, but can be transported to you in Idaho. Please email for an application.

Posey and Bambi are two little tiny Chihuahua girls that came in to rescue after their owner passed away. Posey is a 5-year-old spayed female purebred Chihuahua and Bambi. May or me not be her daughter and is most likely a chiweenie and is approximately 8 months old. Also spayed. Both dogs are pee pad trained. They play together well but they also could do just fine separated as Bambi is a little much for Posey most of the time. Posey also just had a fresh dental cleaning done and a rotten tooth pulled. HI - I'M SWEET BELLA, an 11-year-old Chihuahua mix in need of a forever home. I was rescued from a scary California shelter, where I was made urgent because I needed a dental. I have since had 4 teeth removed and now am good to go! I am a sweet and quiet girl, and very easy to have around. I do well with other dogs and I love human attention and affection. Their bond is undeniable, so they must be adopted together to keep each other company. Both are fully house-trained and have a genuine love for walks, exploring the neighborhood with gentle curiosity. When it's time to relax, they adore snuggling on the couch with you for movie nights, always eager for a cuddle and close companionship. They’re so comfortable in their routine that, being kennel trained, they’ll put themselves to bed when ready, curling up contentedly and settling in for the night. Although Rusty and Angel have lived with cats before, they've discovered that chasing them can be quite entertaining, so a home without cats is recommended for their new adventure. Angel is wonderful with young children, always patient and gentle. Rusty, on the other hand, prefers to keep a little distance at first, needing to build trust and ensure kids won’t tug at his ears or tail. Once he feels safe, he'll be just as affectionate and loving. Every morning, Rusty and Angel greet you with wagging tails and expectant eyes, ready for a stroll or some playtime in the yard. Their favorite moments are the quiet ones—lying side by side while the sun streams in through the window, or listening to bedtime stories read aloud. Both dogs have an amazing ability to sense your mood, offering comfort when you’re down and sharing joy when you’re celebrating. Their gentle presence turns any house into a home, filling it with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.
