Max is ready for adoption!  Max is a Chihuahua mix, who is 9lbs, crate trained, mostly potty trained.   Max is a sweet but timid little boy in search of a calm house with an available lap to snuggle the days away.  He's a tender heart-ed lovey and deserves an empathetic family to best serve him.   He's been great with older children and pays no attention to cats. He has very typical chihuahua characteristics, a little drama paired with so much love. He has a good routine for pottying and done well, but does have the occasional accident. Max does ok with dogs but doesn’t play nicely always so the resident dogs have set boundaries with him and they all coexist beautifully.  He would do well as an only dog or a dog who will be able to tell Max when they have had enough. There is no agression just a little awkwardness.   Max does well on a leash and does not require a fenced yard.   Please understand that Max is super sensitive and will absolutely take several weeks to settle in and get into a routine.  He needs someone who will be patient and have zero expectations of him.  The reward of patience will be so rewarding.   Once approved, we will set up a day/time for you to meet him.  Please be ready to take him home within 1-3 days after application approval.  His adoption fee is covered so he is free to go home with an approved application.  Www.trackingintheshadows.com  ##2607057##

Chug Charlie was relinquished by no fault of his own. This is a nice boy who is good with other dogs & with people. He is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 11/11/21 and he currently weighs 12.4#. We are guessing at his breed make up. His foster reports him house trained, crate trained and good with cats. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is heart worm and tick born illness negative. He had a dental with extractions. His adoption donation is $400 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. She is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her birth date is 03/21/25 and she currently weighs 7.2#.She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She has a slight visual defect but it's not noticeable in her movements.  Her adoption donation is $500 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. LEONARDIn Foster HomeDo you have room in your heart for a special-needs dog? We can tell from the way he bobs his head when stressed and circles and spins when he is excited that he has something unique going on in his little head. If we had to guess his breed, we think a terrier mix with maybe some Boston terrier, chihuahua or French bulldog in there. Leonard loves the company of other dogs and would make a great playmate for a dog who enjoys a good game of chase or wrestling. He really needs another dog around in order to be happy. Leonard has come a long way toward being potty trained, given ample opportunities to go outdoors. He also is using potty pads indoors. He has a beautiful shiny blue coat which makes him stand out from the pack. He likes to hang out with the people without having to sit on a lap or be cuddled too much. He seems to be mesmerized by things daily and is always cocking his head in the cutest way. His foster mom works from home and he LOVES that. If you have dreams of him being an obedience champion, you’ll have to let those go.
