Phoenix is a small chihuahua/terrier mix. She was abandoned at a boarding facility, when her owner moved and could not have a dog in their new home. She is quite the spunky little girl, house and crate trained she loves to be sitting in a chair with her foster parents, is the best little dog in the car and she likes to go on walks. She is a great little watch dog and gets along with most dogs. She just wants to please her foster parents.

Meet Nelly! She is a 9.3 lb Chihuahua that loves to be held and love, loves belly rubs. She is a sweet little girl that is approximately 4 years old. She is new to our program and settling in to her foster home. Nelly is hard at work with her potty training and learning to navigate the doggy door in her foster home. She gets along with the other dogs in the home but she would also thrive as an only pet.

A typical Chi, he needs time to adjust to new people and needs a home that understands Chihuahuas and will give him the time he needs to trust, then will be your BFF. He enjoys playing and wrestling with other small dogs once he gets comfortable but would do fine as an only dog. He loves playing in the back yard and uses the doggie door frequently. In need of a true sweetheart for Valentine's Day? A true companion who loves with their whole heart and will always stick by your side? If so, Wyatt is your boy! He loves sitting on the couch with you and cuddling. If you're busy, he's able to entertain himself. He is a playful, active guy so a backyard for running around would be good for him. Since being rescued, Wyatt hasn't been around other dogs yet, so if you have other doggies an introduction prior to adoption would be helpful. Wyatt is very responsive to positive reinforcement and is almost potty trained: he's just working on alerting when he needs to go. When around new friends or family, he can be a little slow to warm up, but he responds well to friendly people who give him a little time to feel safe.
