Story
UPDATE!! Meet ChaChi!!  This little guy was a breeder surrender. He’s an adorable 2 year old — 8 lb chi. Chachi is such a sweet boy. He loves being with his people and is great with other animals. He’s adjusting to indoor life beautifully and loving it. He’s really the perfect little lap pup. Chachi is fully vetted, altered and ready to go home with you today!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! Story
UPDATE!! Meet Tucker! This boy was saved with his family a few months back from a homeless camp! He and his brother Turner were reserved but sadly pick up was never worked out and they are still available. Tucker is a terrier mix. Mom weighed 14 lbs and dad weighs 26. Our guess is Tucker will be in the 20-25 lb range. He’s now 14 weeks and 10 lbs. He’s a playful and sweet boy. He loves other dogs and all people. He would make the perfect family addition. This sweet boy is utd, dewormed, neutered and ready for his forever home!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. Story
HOARDER UPDATE!!&#226&#156&#168 Hugh and Huck are going on 6 weeks old and growing like little weeds. They are sweet momma Heidi’s two boys who were born the night we pulled them from the hoarding case. Heidi is a chi mix around 10 lbs and dad is a wide haired terrier around 12-15 lbs. We do believe Hugh is going to have more of dad’s hair texture and Huck more short coated like mom. They likely will be in the 10-15 lbs range as adults. They will be ready at 9 weeks old once they can have second vaccines and be neutered. We are taking apps now and reserving them to the perfect forever homes.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! HOARDER CASE UPDATE!! Meet momma Heidi and her 2 precious baby boys. We pulled this sweet momma just in time from this terrible hoarding situation. Momma Heidi delivered the very night we saved her. Heidi is a Chi/Terrier Mix. She is around 2-3 years old and 10ish. Heidi is a sweet girl and settled right into her foster home and has opened right up. She is loving having a safe and warm place to raise her babies and has been the best momma. She came to us covered in scabies mange and loaded with parasites but has been treated and is healing beautifully. Heidi is utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and will be spayed once the babies are weaned and her milk has dried up. The babies are now 1 week old and will be ready at 9 weeks once they can have 2 rounds of vaccines and they are altered. We are taking apps and reserving these sweets pups to the perfect forever homes now!  If you can foster this sweet family until adoption ready please fill out the app below!   FOSTER APPLICATION https://form.jotform.us/71694695237167 Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! Story
UPDATE!! Momma CeeCee is the sweetest girl around. She came to us months ago after delivering 4 beautiful babies. Her babies have found their homes and it’s time for CeeCee to find hers. This girl is true companion. She finds her person and bonds hard. She wants to be with you at all times and is the perfect lap baby. She’s chill and cuddly. She doesn’t mind other animals and hasn’t had any issues with kids. She’s great indoors, in a crate and on leash. She is simply perfection. CeeCee is 4-5 years old and 25 lbs. She is a standard Chiweenie mix. She is utd, hw tested and spayed.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply!
