Story
Hi, I'm Bear. I'm a bit shy, you see, but don't let that fool you. I've got a funny side that's sure to make you laugh. I enjoy the simple pleasures of life, like playing with my favorite toys. I love those! They keep me entertained for hours. I also enjoy a good cuddle. Nothing beats the feeling of love and affection. But, I need someone patient. I take my time to open up, but once I do, I promise it's worth it. I'm a sweet soul, just looking for a home where I can be myself. I may be a bit of a goofball, but I'm also a loyal friend. If you're looking for a buddy who will keep you entertained and love you unconditionally, then I'm your guy. Adopt me, and let's make unforgettable memories together. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.

Story
Wolfgang is a unique, lovable dog with a personality all his own. He absolutely adores men and children and forms strong, loyal bonds with them. Due to past trauma, he’s very uneasy around women, so he’ll need a home that can respect his boundaries and set him up for success with the people he feels safe with. This sweet boy loves kids and enjoys being part of their world. He also has a funny little quirk—Wolfgang thinks he’s a cat! He loves to perch up high and observe everything from above, totally content and chill. Despite his calm, easygoing nature, Wolfgang has gone through heartbreak. He was abandoned on a front porch when his owners moved away, but he’s still hopeful and ready for a fresh start with someone who will finally give him the love and stability he deserves. If you’re looking for a gentle, quirky, child-loving dog with a peaceful vibe and a big heart, Wolfgang could be your perfect match. PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Girly Pop Sweet, sassy, and smart—Girly Pop is a 1- to 2-year-old female Chihuahua mix weighing about 11-12 lbs. She was found as a stray near the Biloxi YMCA and it took a full week to safely capture her. Now she’s ready for a loving home to call her own. About Girly Pop Breed: Chihuahua mix Age: 1–2 years old Weight: ~11–12 lbs Gender: Female (unaltered) Heartworm Status: Positive (currently in treatment) Location: Gulfport/Biloxi, MS (Local Adoption Only) Girly Pop is a clever little escape artist who can jump or wiggle her way out of enclosures and even slip a leash, so a secure yard and someone willing to work with her are a must. She’s a chewer at times but overall a very loving, intelligent dog who craves attention and cuddles. She’s great with other dogs of all sizes and enjoys their company. With people, she warms up nicely—she’ll often roll over to show her belly—but she can be startled if handled roughly. She has had incidents of nipping when scared or jealous, so a calm, experienced home would be best. She’s not fully housebroken yet (she still has accidents at night) but is crate- and baby-gate trained for when left alone. She can be left for up to eight hours, though she loves to be near her people when possible. Ideal Home Girly Pop would do well in a home with another friendly dog to play with and someone who enjoys a little spunky personality in a small package. Because she’s an escape artist and startles easily, a home with secure fencing and no small children would be ideal. Adoption Info Girly Pop is heartworm-positive and currently undergoing treatment. She’s available for local adoption only through Tired Dog Rescue. If you’re ready to give this sweet, intelligent little girl the safe and loving home she deserves, please apply with Tired Dog Rescue.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 8, 2025, 3:44 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Chica – Small in Size, Big on Loyalty   At just 8 pounds, Chica may be tiny, but her devotion to the people she loves is anything but small. This 10-year-old brindle Chihuahua is looking for a calm, adult home where she can truly relax, feel secure, and be someone’s cherished companion.   Chica isn’t one to demand attention, but once she trusts you, she becomes a sweet, affectionate little shadow. She loves quiet moments, cozy laps, and following her favorite human from room to room. Her loyalty runs deep, and she bonds best when she feels understood and respected.   Because of her sensitive nature, Chica thrives in a peaceful environment with predictable routines and gentle handling. She could potentially live with another calm, respectful dog who understands and responds to her cues, but she does need her personal space honored. Small children are not a good fit, as Chica does not enjoy sudden movements or having her space invaded.   Medical Notes: Chica has manageable skin sensitivities, including allergic dermatitis and pododermatitis, which are well controlled with routine care and a little extra TLC.   Chica may not be the right match for every home, but for the right person—someone seeking a loyal, low-key companion with a big heart—she could be the perfect fit. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who will love you deeply and quietly, Chica is ready to meet you.   Located in Gulfport, MS Apply through Tired Dog Rescue    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 10, 2025, 6:03 pm
