Trixie Belle is so sweet & loves her people! She is shy when meeting new people, but opens up after a couple of days and becomes your shadow. She loves to be petted and get butt scratches once she trusts you and will gently paw your hand to get them & ride on your shoulder. She also loves to curl up on the coach near you and is perfectly content to be a couch potato most of the day. She is good with other dogs and fine with cats (stays away from them). She would do best in a quieter home without young children. She is already potty and kennel trained. Buddy is a silly snuggle bug and gets excited when you say "who's a good boy or whistle." He knows his name and comes when you call him. He is super loving and always gives kisses. He is also curious, watching and learning what goes on in a home & wants to be right in the middle of the action or quiet. He is playful and loves toys. He energetic and just might be the next Olympic gymnast the way he leaps off the ground. He's already potty trained loves the outdoors. He would benefit from being in a home with someone who is home a lot & patient while he adjusts, but he will quickly become part of your daily life that you can’t live without. Buddy came from a hoarding situation & is thankful for his new life! Malcolm Reynolds (Mal) is about ten years old and only 6 lbs. He is fully ready for adoption. He will need to use belly bands at home. He will need medicine for gallbladder stones for the rest of his life, but it isn't expensive. He only has four teeth, so he will forever need soft food. The adoption area is limited to within a four-hour drive of Hammond, LA. Due to his small size and delicate frame. he cannot be in a home where there will be young children.
