Sansa is an adorable and small chihuahua girl who is seeking a new home hopefully in Idaho! She is currently in Tetonia Idaho and is with a boarding group there. Sansa was adopted from TRACS a year ago and is now in need of another home due to life circumstances of her adoptive owner. Sansa is confident in herself but fearful of the world around her and would really enjoy a quiet home with possibly just one person to bond with. She needs a stable home with retirees or parents who work from home, and who have a low key routine. Adventures can be a bit overwhelming to her, as with many chihuahuas. Sansa loves and seeks comfort in other dogs and even cats but is also okay as an only pet. Sansa originally was rescued from a hoarding case in Texas, and she will defensively nip if she feels threatened in a situation she does not understand. She is OK with kids if the kids know how to respect her space. This girl is spayed and chipped and fully vaccinated and has had some training too. HI - I'M JACE, and I'm a 6-year-old, 7-lb once-neglected male Chihuahua in need of a forever home. I was found dumped in a ditch in Los Angeles, severely underweight. My mouth was a bit of a mess and so I have now had a dental. I also may have a low-grade heart murmur but that doesn't stop me from enjoying life. I need a loving person or people to help me recuperate from my horrible beginnings. I'm a sweet, quiet boy and I get along great with other dogs. Rouge was originally found by animal control, heartbreakingly she was never claimed by an owner. Rouge came to rescue due to her shy nature as it did not bode well in a shelter environment and she was shutting down. Rogue is a chihuahua/pug mix and we have her DNA to prove it! Rouge weighs about 13lbs and is 4-5 years old. Rouge is described by her foster mom as a soft soul with a cautious heart. Her trust is not just given out- but once you earn it, you’re rewarded with the best snuggles, endless affection, and enthusiastic belly rub requests. In the home, Rogue is very respectful. When guests come over, she’ll do a polite round of sniffs and then quietly excuse herself to curl up under a cozy blanket. She’s not one for the spotlight—comfort and calm are her happy places. Rogue gets along beautifully with other dogs, though she hasn’t figured out completely how to play with them. Rouge is also great with cats, and she’s even been around goats, chickens, and horses! Funny enough, she seems to feel more confident around animals than people. That being said loud or busy environments make her nervous. Because of this, Rogue would do best in a home without young children. A few days a week, Rogue attends doggie daycare, and it’s been lovely to watch her confidence grow with each visit. She’s learning that the world isn’t so scary after all - especially when it’s filled with kindness, patience, and lots of butt scratches. Since coming into foster care, her confidence has grown by leaps and bounds and with that, her adorable sass is starting to show! Rogue would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who understands that the best relationships are worth waiting for. If you’re looking for a quiet companion, a loyal heart, and a world-class snuggler, Rogue just might be your perfect match Rouge is spayed, UTD on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. Homeownership and a fenced yard are preferred. This rescue will not adopt out to individuals with unaltered domestic pets in their home.
