Meet Lizzy!In typical Chihuahua-mix fashion, Lizzie is “big” at heart and takes her job of protecting her home and everyone in it very seriously. As a mature lady, she knows exactly what she wants: a friendly dog her size to play with and a nice, fenced yard where she can race around. Even at 8 years old, Lizzie still has plenty of spunk left! Her perfect day includes a short walk and a car ride, followed by an evening spent snuggling on the couch.Lizzie has lived successfully with other dogs, cats, and children over the age of 12. She is well-mannered in the home and long past the chewing stage. Lizzie adores her food and is currently on a diet to help keep her from getting too chunky, which also helps keep her joints feeling their best. She has some arthritis in her feet and takes daily joint supplements.Lizzie can be shy when first meeting new people, but with a few tasty treats, she warms up quickly and shows her sweet, loving personality.
