You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello! My name is Angel. My previous owners could not care for me properly, so I came to the Olive Branch. I had a severe case of flea dermatitis and a skin infection on top of that! Thankfully we took care of all of that. My skin is better, my fur has grown back, and best of all- no more ithcy fleas! I have been spayed, vaccinated, combo tested (all negative), and my preventives are all currnet. I have been living in the offices at OBARR with several different dogs and a couple cats. I seem to get along great with everyone. I would love to have a doggy companion to romp and play with. Kids would be great, too. Cats are okay, I just don't pay any attention to them. I would be a perfect all around family pet. Fox was found wandering around as a stray on a very cold morning. He was having a hard time walking and his front legs were very weak from the cold. He is a senior dog but no owner has come forward yet. He is a good little fella and will be see by our vet before he is up for adoption.

Ginger is a cute 12-year old female Pomeranian who was brought to the HSOV on November 15, 2025 by Good Samaritans who found her on State Route 339 in the Vincent Ohio area. Ginger was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped. Ginger has a dark tan/red medium-haired coat, a long tail, and an adorable Pomeranian face with dark brown eyes, a tiny slender muzzle, and small erect ears. This little senior citizen has a sweet affectionate personality. She loves her people friends, and she also gets along with other dogs. Ginger appears to have some of the physical conditions which are common with the privilege of becoming older. Ginger weighs 13.2 lbs. Ginger loved being held in HSOV Kennel Tech Hannah McClain's arms when these photos were taken on the afternoon of November 16th. Hannah and HSOV Lead Feline Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton treated Ginger to a 'pedicure' after she posed for her glamour pictures .. Many dogs do not like to have their nails trimmed, but Ginger was in 'seventh heaven' sitting on Hannah's lap while Lauryn gently trimmed Ginger's long nails. Seeing Hannah and Lauryn giving Ginger extra care and making her feel safe/loved brought happy tears to our photographer's eyes .. These quiet behind-the-scenes acts of love which HSOV cats and dogs receive from our compassionate kennel techs/shelter staff are surely a reflection of their kind hearts .. They give the shelter animals the same loving care as they give their own pets. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Ginger will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Since she was not reclaimed, Ginger went home with a foster family as a medical foster so that she could enjoy being in a real home environment instead of being in a shelter floor crate.
