This mama dog is a sweet and happy girl.  She and her pups had lived with an older person who just couldn't care for them anymore.  She gets along well with other dogs, has a bit of interest in cats but with time I think she would be fine.  She will need a bit of training as she lived mostly outside.  She loves attention and learns quickly.  November 23, 2025, 6:15 pm

George is the 2nd of the 3 pups from Mama P.  He is a bit more reserved than his sister Matilda but he is a happy boy that would love a person to call his own.  I think he will learn fast for treats.  He is good with other dogs but a bit interested in cats but I think he would be fine with proper introductions.  December 6, 2025, 6:56 pm

Houdini is a fast little guy that escaped from our yard shortly after we took him from the OKC shelter. We tried for days to catch him. He wouldn't come to us and grew to know what we and our vehicles looked like so would run the other way. After about 2 weeks a local lady found him curled up in her yard. She was able to get him inside with some chicken breast and so we finally got him back. He is a sweet and loving boy now.  He must have had a very scary life prior to being picked up.  He will need a secure yard and someone with patience to help him over come his insecurity.  August 19, 2025, 8:23 am

Speedy is a typical older chi.  He has an attitude but once he trusts you, he is your best buddy.  He was adopted from us as a younger dog but his owner recently had to go into assisted living so he was returned.  He does well with other dogs although he likes to be the boss.  He would not do well with children.  He is a runner if he gets out!November 14, 2024, 9:26 pm

Barney is a quiet boy.  He does have a bit of anxiety. He came in with another dog, and would do best in a home with another dog.  He is a bit slow to warm up but is a very good boy.  He is pee pad and doggy door trained.  He is good with other dogs, ok with cats.  He is selective with children.  He would do best in a home where someone is home a lot.September 14, 2025, 7:31 pm
