Story
Meet Carmel aka Princess. Princess is sweet and playful with all her foster siblings. She enjoys chasing after her brothers and likes to show off that despite her stubby little paws, she too can do what they can; she can even run as fast or faster than they can! While she loves her foster dog siblings, she has her guard up towards humans. Deep inside, she doesn't want to be hurt again so she tries to play it cool. However, all she truly wants is a human she can truly rely on. She shows this at night when all are asleep by running to your pillow faster than the speed of light, just to get a chance to fall asleep next to you. And if you wake up, she will wiggle herself on the bed to show you how cute she can be.. If you are interested, please reach out to neydiaramirez@gmail.com

Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200. Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip). For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com. Join us on Facebook athttps://www.facebook.com/moaspets. It's a great way to stay up to the minute on the furry 4 legged friends we have looking for a loving forever home. We are located at:1888 Colbert Danielsville Rd Danielsville, GA 30633 706-795-2868NOTE: Our adoptions are first come first served, simply filling out an application does not mean the animal will be held for you, you must come meet the animal in person in order to be considered for adoption. If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.
