Story
Meet Mando!  If you’re looking for the sweetest, most cuddly little bug, look no further! Mando loves to be the center of your world, but also understands how to share space with other animals. He may be small, but boy, can he leap like a gazelle onto the couch or the bed so he can snuggle up right beside you for the ultimate nap. Mando enjoys a nice walk with his people and looooves car rides in your lap. Although he’s not besties with the crate, he is a very good boy and doesn’t leave any messes while you’re out and about. Mando loooooves tennis ball to be thrown and for him to grab it, just don’t expect him to give it back!   He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Mando is currently being fostered in South Carolina. ADOPT MANDO!! www.LuckyPupRescueSC.com The adoption fee is $375.00 and we require a vet check and home visit. July 1, 2025, 3:08 pm

Story
Little Eddie just arrived and rest assured, he is ADORABLE. Eddie is about 14 lbs and we are slimming him down a bit. He is so very sweet, likes meeting new people after a minute to warm up. He would do best with respectful kids over 10. Eddie is wonderful with other dogs and would enjoy a playmate, but it's not a deal breaker. He loves to be doted on and is excellent on a leash. Eddie has had wonderful house manners and is quiet in his crate. This little man has an excellent disposition and is a hoot to hang out with. He is 2 years old and should weigh about 9 lbs.

Good with dogs,
Story
Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home.  Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR.  We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone.  Our job is to find those someone's.  Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog.  They come to us because they want to give a dog a home.  We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture.  While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face.  Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home.  We want to create furever families.  Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today.  We'll update as more information is known.  Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days?  If so please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and complete the application.  You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side.  You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available.  Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes?  Please drop a note to applications@carolinapoodlerescue.org with your name, address and phone # and email.  We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team   Date into Rescue: 07/19/2025 Reason for being in rescue: Born into rescue Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Taco is up to date on vaccines for his age. Taco's mom Gigi is a tan & white chihuahua. We believe his dad is either a terrier or chinese crested that lived in the same area at the home.  Weight: We expect Taco will be between 10-15 lbs when full grown Height: We expect Taco will be 8 inches when full grown Spayed/Neutered: No. Taco is too young to be neutered. He will be adopted on a spay/neuter addendum that requires you to neuter him at your cost within 9 months and provide proof of neuter. Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed? No What kind of home would be best for me? Puppies need canine friends. Taco's ideal home has another young dog for play and socialization. If you don't have another dog, you must be able to describe a plan for regular (at least 4 times/week) play and socialization with other dogs. A person scheduled away from home for no more than 4 hours per day and can provide multiple potty breaks throughout the day and night is a must. He is a baby and needs play breaks as well as frequent and consistent potty times to aid in potty training.  What is my personality like? Taco - tiny but mighty, thinks he's a Doberman. He loves to get on the bed when his foster brother jack the Doberman is on the bed, he runs under Jacks' chin and gives him a nibble, then runs back to foster mom like home base!  Taco is wide open. He needs buddies and needs an active life. Taco is the leader of the pack. PUPPY POLICY: Thank you for carefully considering the addition of a puppy to your family. Puppies can be a joyous experience, but they can also be a tremendous amount of work. Since our goal is to place each of our dogs in forever homes, we are especially cautious with puppies. We like to stress 3 major things when considering a puppy vs. an adult dog: 1) many adult dogs are well bred, well trained dogs who find themselves in rescue through no fault of their own, 2) adult dogs are eager to share their love and bond with their new family, and 3) puppies will always require far more time, energy, and training than an adult dog. Our ideal puppy adopters are: -experienced dog owners with a solid record of excellent vet care of their previous pets -scheduled away from home for no more than 4 hours per day and have another canine companion already in the home -stay at home type of people (work at home, home schoolers, retired, etc) How do I act when I first meet new people? Taco is a friendly, active puppy. Other tips and tidbits: Taco was born 07/19/2025 House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs.  If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip.  Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina.   To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home.   You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc.  Others here may be a better fit for you.  It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description.  Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a  dog not in our listings yet.  We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR. November 20, 2025, 3:34 pm
