Story
Hello I am Michelangelo! I like to keep an eye on my people and am really attached to my foster mom. I pretty much follow her schedule and keep my eye on her all day. I used to be sad when she would have to go out, but really happy when I get to go too. I just want to be around someone all day : )I have several favorite toys and enjoy playtime. Sometimes I have a hard time jumping up to sit near my foster mom and she needs to help me up, but have been doing pretty good about that lately. I enjoy walks but not too long. I like older children and meeting new people-watch for my sweet tail wags! I am a very laid-back dog. I am friendly and loving towards everyone I meet. I love to be loved, but I am not needy. I am excellent company. I am not a big barker, and I am a good watch-dog. I am a little hard of hearing, so you might need to use vibrations or light to get my attention.I do take seizure medicine and am on a special diet for my stomach-please ask the adoption team for more information on my needs! My adoption fee of $300 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Let me introduce myself...I am Squealy! I have no idea why they named me that but I am a very sweet. I am an old fellow looking for some snuggly blankets, a soft bed and someone that will give me lots of love. I do have some arthritis and I don't see as well as I once did, I have lots of love to give. Like my little sister Rosie, I have lived most of my life outside and I really want to have a home of my own.Squealy is part of our Ambassador's Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Greetings from Queen Elizabeth, but you can call me Betty. I am eager to find a home that will keep me to the manner in which I have become accustomed. I desire space to run and be myself but also need love and affection on my terms (ha!). I love my people. I am very social with older kids and adults. Smaller children tend to make me nervous. I am definitely queen of my domain. I love to be in the know and by my mom's side. I am perfectly content to scamper along with you and your daily activities. I love a good scratch behind the ears and will bump your hand for more attention.I am potty trained and would do best as an only dog.Can you make me your queen?Betty is part of our Home to Home Program. I'm "Yay! O" 19 lbs of Chihuahua mixed with something handsome. You don't have to worry about me roaming your house. If I'm not relaxing in my open crate, I'll be in your lap cuddling. I'm house trained and will go outside to potty and then come right back in. I'm an indoor guy, That doesn't even require long leash walks. Just give me the comforts of home and you won't hear any complaints from me! I live with another younger female sister. We share one thing in common, we'd be more at home without young humans and their excitable voices and movements! Yayo is part of our Ambassador's Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Story
I'm Stella and 3 years ago my mom rescued me from a living situation that made me fearful. The loud and boisterous kids in the home were not a good fit for me. Older kids or adults would be just fine! I also enjoy spending time outside with people and of course, sleeping in the bed at night! I've been living my best life until recently when my mom was diagnosed with an illness that makes her weaker by the day. I understand why it takes her longer to feed me or let me out. She's looking out for my brother, YayO and me, and asked Pawmetto Lifeline to spread the word about needing a forever home. I'm confident that all will work out!Stella is part of our Ambassador's Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. My foster Mom says I am perfect. I get along with my foster siblings, I have never had an accident in the house, I love to cuddle, and I am so sweet. She loves the way my tongue hangs out when I sleep. I do like to sleep in the pillows or blankets. I am small and she can pick me up to give me hugs. I am kind of insulted because she thinks I have a bad haircut with a part down the middle of my head. I don't care it adds to my personality and I'm super cute! 8 yrs. 14 lb. Story
We rescued Wanda from a local shelter. We aren't sure of her backstory but she seems to have been a loved, well-fed inside baby. She is good with the fosters dogs, cats and isn't bothered at all by their infant. She was a little nervous initially as many dogs would be straight out of the shelter, but she quickly settled in and showed her loving side to all. She loves toys, a soft bed and being by her people. Wanda is a little achy in her hips at times so the shelter age estimate of 4 is not right. She is probably closer to 7. Our vet gave her some meds to help. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped. 16 lb. Housetrained if you know her signal to go out.

Tabitha loves everyone! People and dogs are tops on her list. She is a smart little girl too. She will sit and lay down when told. We're so thankful we were able to save her from a local shelter after she arrived there from a confiscation for neglect. How could anyone neglect or harm this girl? She lets her foster mom know when she needs to go outside, she enjoys a bath and loves to be brushed. Leash trained too. She kisses all the time to let you know how much she loves you! Due to neglect, she does have heartworms but we will provide her treatment in August. She can be adopted now, so don't keep her waiting. She's ready for a loving home. Spay, microchip, vaccines provided. 8 yrs old. 18 lb.

Story
Hi, my foster mom calls me Murphy, but when she calls me 'sweet boy!' I really like it by dancing around and being silly! I love to sit with my humans and even to sit on their feet when they're just standing around and not petting me. Even though I was never taught to not potty in the house, my foster mom is teaching me to go 'outside'. She says it in a REALLY excited playful voice, and I get a treat! So that must mean I'm supposed to use the green stuff in the yard. I was never taught to play with toys, but foster mom has these squeaky things that I'm sort of interested in. But I'd still rather be near her on the sofa, or in her lap. Foster mom also has furry things called 'cats' and other little dogs like ME and big dogs too! I get along with everybody and just go with the flow. Foster mom and dad had a couple of new humans that came to visit, and I showed them how cuddly and friendly I was.Because I'm such a cuddler, I don't like to be left alone for hours on end. That's just not 'me'. I'd much rather be around humans so I can show them how much I love them!Foster mom has me sleep in a thing she calls a 'crate'. I wasn't crazy about it at first, but I caught on very quickly, that it is only for the night-night time and she comes and gets me first thing in the morning. Then I get breakfast! Yummy!I really like my foster mom and dad, but I know they can't keep me forever.Maybe if you're reading this, you'd consider being my furever person? I'd love to show you what a good boy i am and how sweet I am.My adoption fee of $450 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention.
