Story
Meet Copper, a 1½-year-old Chihuahua with a gentle temperament and an affectionate nature. He is a friendly young dog who greatly desires human attention and companionship, though he is still building the confidence to readily seek it out. Copper benefits from a calm, patient environment where he is given time to feel secure and comfortable. Once he begins to trust his surroundings, his sweet and loving personality becomes more apparent, and he shows a strong desire to bond with his caregivers. With consistent reassurance and a patient adopter, Copper is expected to continue to grow in confidence and make a devoted and rewarding companion. Copper has tested positive for heartworm disease and will require a follow up on 09/20/26. He has began the "slow kill" method for heartworm disease using Proheart 6 injection and Doxycycline.

Story
Woody is a 5-year-old terrier mix with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for tennis balls! This guy is absolutely nuts for a ball—seriously, he could play fetch for hours and never get tired. If you’ve got an arm for throwing, Woody’s your perfect match. 💪 He’s neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on all his vaccines—ready to head straight into his forever home! Woody has been working hard on his manners and is making progress with commands like “drop it” and “leave it.” He just needs someone willing to keep him engaged. When it comes to other dogs, Woody can be a bit selective. He likes some, not all—and he’s not afraid to show off his macho side then he gets over himself and just wants to play. Woody would do best in a home with older kids who can match his energy and are ready to spend lots of time playing fetch. If you’re looking for a fun, active, and entertaining companion, Woody is your guy!

Story
Meet Ghost. At just 1½ years old, Ghost somehow looks like he's already retired from a long career and spends his mornings reading the newspaper and judging the neighborhood. His black coat is sprinkled with white, giving him the distinguished appearance of a tiny old man trapped in a young Chihuahua's body. Despite looking like he should be yelling at squirrels to stay off his lawn, Ghost is an active little guy who wants to be involved in absolutely everything you're doing. Sitting down for five seconds? Ghost has already claimed your lap. Personal space is not a concept Ghost recognizes. He doesn't just want to be near you—he wants to be closer. If he could somehow become a fashionable accessory and be carried around 24/7, he'd consider that an excellent life plan. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with the heart of a best friend and the appearance of a grumpy little grandpa, Ghost is ready to report for duty.

Story
💖 MEET PEARL 💖 Sometimes it takes a whole village — and this weekend, that’s exactly what happened. Multiple rescues came together to safely trap two terrified little souls, giving them a second chance at life. 🐾 One of those precious lives is Pearl. This tiny 8.5 lb girl is estimated to be about 10 months old. She’s “missing” one eye, and her other doesn’t function, but that doesn’t stop her from melting hearts the moment she’s held. 💕 When she first came in, Pearl was absolutely terrified — frozen in fear — but with a little patience and a lot of love, she’s already showing her sweet, trusting personality. Pearl will be seeing our vet tomorrow for a full check-up, and she should be ready for a new home as soon as our vet clears her! Pearl will need a very securely and safe home as she is not able to see!
