💖 MEET PEARL 💖 Sometimes it takes a whole village — and this weekend, that’s exactly what happened. Multiple rescues came together to safely trap two terrified little souls, giving them a second chance at life. 🐾 One of those precious lives is Pearl. This tiny 8.5 lb girl is estimated to be about 10 months old. She’s “missing” one eye, and her other doesn’t function, but that doesn’t stop her from melting hearts the moment she’s held. 💕 When she first came in, Pearl was absolutely terrified — frozen in fear — but with a little patience and a lot of love, she’s already showing her sweet, trusting personality. Pearl will be seeing our vet tomorrow for a full check-up, and she should be ready for a new home as soon as our vet clears her! Pearl will need a very securely and safe home as she is not able to see!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This sweet boy is Charlie!  He was rescued from a local kill shelter after his owner passed away suddenly.  He was with over a dozen other dogs.  All of his fur-friends were rescued but he was left behind.  He has had all of his vaccines, neutered and has been treated for heartworms.  He gets along well with other dog friendly dogs his size. He hasn't been around cats.  He has been protective and territorial at the shelter but not in his foster home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped; and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval. Story
🐾 Meet Baby Girl – The Sweetheart with a Spicy Side! 🐾 Baby Girl’s story almost ended too soon. Surrendered to a high-kill shelter when her owner could no longer care for her, she was running out of time… until an East Texas rescue stepped in and saved her life. Now this 5-year-old, 20-pound beauty is living her second chance to the fullest — and she’s ready for her forever home! Baby Girl is fully vetted, housebroken, crate trained, and doggie door savvy. She knows all the important words: no, outside, potty, go for a ride, and especially let's eat! Smart and sassy, she’s the full chihuahua package with that classic chihuahua confidence and charm. She gets along great with the dogs in her foster home, enjoys lounging beside her foster mom in the recliner, and loves nothing more than running outside with the wind in her ears — no matter the weather. Baby Girl is loyal, loving, and just the right mix of cuddles and character. If you're looking for a small dog with a big heart and even bigger personality, she’s your girl. 💕 Apply today and give Baby Girl the forever home she’s waited for.

Story
Evelyn is the more outgoing of a bonded pair of pups that were left basically to themselves, with little human interaction. Emilia is sweet and interested in everything and playful and very much has "girl boss" energy. She is not good with other dogs, but leaves cats alone. Not good with young kids. Older children ok. She is up for spay next week and then can be adopted. She does have food aggression so needs to be fed separately from other dogs.
