Story
Scout becomes very attached to his owners and is a mellow, couch potato type. He is mostly quiet and calm. He likes hanging out in his puppy bed and he loves treats! Scout has fear aggression and needs a patient owner who's willing to work with him on this. He has already made progress with his foster family. Scout is approximately 8 years old, 14 pounds, and is pee-pad trained. He has lived in a home with another dog but he keeps to himself. We need to re-home Scout due to his owner's terminal health condition and inability to care for Scout. Please ask if any questions. He's a special little pup who just needs a chance and some love!

Joey is approximately 2 years old. He is mostly housed trained. I have used the male wraps on him. He does go potty outside. My dad has moved in with me and Joey has tripped him up too many times because he is not completely steady on his feet.Joey loves to snuggle while watching tv and taking naps. He is neutered and just got up to date on his shots this past Thursday.His adoption fee covers part of his latest yearly vaccines and microchip.He will come with enough food to transition him to your food.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Nacho was origionally rescued from a bad hoarding situation along with several others and had NO socialization (they lived like wild animals). Nacho was one of the lucky ones who was adopted into a great home butt sadly his owner became unable to care for him & we were asked to take him. Nacho has anxiety issues in new situations that he is unfamiliar with. When it becomes an every day thing, he is more comfortable with it. He pees just about every time he gets excited about anything. New people, being scolded, a new venue, greeting us when we come home, even waiting for me to fix his food! He does not like getting his feet wet or cold and does not like being rained on. Noises still bother him, like thunder, the planes that fly over, motorcycles, loud cars, and any beeping sound like microwave or oven.  Nacho is really good on a leash and he and Max will walk together side-by-side. He loves for us to go out with him in the yard. Nacho is very sweet and now lets us get close to him, give him a kiss and put our hands over his head to hook his leash without cowering. He loves being rubbed and snoozing on a lap. He now sleeps very soundly and likes to be covered with a blanket at night. Nacho has not been exposed to children while with us but I don’t think small children would be a good idea because of his suspected breed (Chi mix) and jealousy. Nacho seems to like a companion and had to be taught that Max was here and there was no room for jealousy. He has learned tolerance, manners, and to slow down his eating.  Nacho’s new adopter will need to understand and be willing to invest time to ensure that he adapts to a new household, acclimates to a new life and is given time to learn new routines without being punished for not meeting whatever standards they have set ahead of time. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 29, 2026, 6:27 pm

Some people say I have 'a little attitude.' Those people are adorable. I'm basically a fire-breathing dragon trapped in a pint-sized body. I probably have a touch of PTSD from whatever life threw at me before rescue, so here's my advice: don't stress me out, and we won't have any problems. Am I a professional biter? I prefer the term 'enthusiastic personal space advocate.' I have a PhD in saying, 'Please respect my boundaries.' Will I cuddle? Absolutely... ...when I decide it's cuddle time. Other dogs? Meh. My blood work looks great, I'm neutered, vaccinated, and medically ready to go. Apparently I save all my dramatic performances for everyone else. What I need is someone who understands dogs like me. Someone who won't try to force affection, who appreciates my tiny-dog confidence, and who knows that trust isn't given—it's earned. Because underneath all this spice is a little guy who just wants to feel safe. Meet Jenny & Lulu Bell — They’ve Already Lost Their Home. Please Don’t Make Them Lose Each Other. Jenny and Lulu Bell are two precious souls who have found themselves in our care through no fault of their own. Their family is currently without a home and, sadly, was unable to keep them. Jenny is a 7-year-old spayed Chihuahua, and Lulu Bell is a 7-year-old spayed female cat. They came to us together, and it is clear that they mean so much to one another. Both girls are gentle, calm, and understandably a little unsure right now. We can only imagine how confusing and frightening it must be to suddenly lose the home and family you have always known. Through all of this uncertainty, they have had each other—and that familiar friendship has helped them feel a little safer. They have already lost their home. We don't want them to lose each other, too. Jenny isn't asking for much. She needs someone patient enough to let her feel safe again, a soft place to curl up, and someone to remind her that she is loved. Lulu Bell is equally deserving of a quiet, loving home where she can feel secure again. She is gentle and calm and just needs time to understand that she is safe. We would absolutely love to keep Jenny and Lulu Bell together if at all possible. They have been through so much change already, and we believe there is something incredibly special about giving these two friends the chance to heal together. Could you open your heart and home to both of them? They lost their family. They lost their home. Let’s not make them lose each other. Please share Jenny and Lulu Bell’s story.
