Kokomo, Male, Chihuahua mix**10 pounds**Courtesy Posting** Kokomo is being fostered in the Richmond VA

area. If you are interested in Kokomo, please go to www.momsva.org and complete an application. Meet Kokomo, an endearing senior dog bursting with personality! At 10 1/2 years old and weighing in at nearly 10 pounds, he’s the perfect blend of obedience and alertness. Once Kokomo finds his special human, his loyalty is unwavering. Kokomo loves to be by your side—whether he's sitting next to you or sleeping in your bed, though he prefers not to be a lapdog. His delightful character makes him a truly unique companion, especially when it comes to treats! This lovable pup is both housetrained and crate trained, and he has no known health issues. Kokomo would thrive as the only pet in a calm household, as he is a bit of a loner and is not suited for homes with children. With plenty of love to offer, Kokomo is eagerly awaiting the right person to share his affection with. If you are interested in Kokomo, please go to www.momsva.org and complete an application. **Courtesy Posting**

Story
Truffles is a confident, cuddle-loving 10-year-old who gets along with just about everyone, cats, dogs, you name it. While she’s happy to hang with her furry friends, what she really wants is a cozy spot next to you. She’s the kind of dog who’ll follow you from room to room, just to be nearby. Ready to give your heart (and couch) to Truffles? She’s waiting! She came in with her sister Marigold, but they don’t seem to be bonded and can be adopted separately. ##2394454##

Story
Approximate Age: 6 years Approximate Weight: 12 lbs MANTIS is a lovely lady. She is much like an older car. She takes a little while to warm up, but once she does, she is easy going, dependable, and ready for a life-long journey. Toys are the gas in her tank...they literally make her smile. ● Very polite and respectful of other dogs and will often climb in bed with a friend at night or for a long nap. Another friendly dog in the home would be a plus to boost her confidence and be a role model. ● Uses training pads faithfully. She is smart and would likely pick up outside potty skills once she settles into her new surroundings. ● No food aggression. She is fed in her crate because there are six other dogs in her current foster home who all dine in their crates. ● Will seek attention and loves to be talked to. Not a fan of cuddling (at the present time). She is happy to rest and relax next to her humans for pets and belly rubs. ● The Universe has so much in store for Mantis. Would you like to be a part of her new life? If so, please complete and submit an adoption survey. Having been part of a hoarding situation with 100 other dogs, almost everything about living in a home with a family is new to Mantis. She is thriving and her happy personality is shining brighter every day in spite of a rough start in life. She is looking for an adopter that will give her much needed compassion, patience, and security. In return she will give you her big heart, friendship, and lots of smiles. ********************************************************************* Schedule a meet-and-greet by completing our Adoption Survey on the Adopt page of our website at https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-survey.
