Story
Courtesy Listing - Tyler is not an AHGRR dog - but his adoption fee will be donated to AHGRR to help homeless dogs find homes. 7 year old Tyler's owner needs to rehome him due to failing health. Tyler can be a little dominate with other dogs so he is best placed with those who will tolerate his shenanigans while he adjusts to his new home. Tyler is very loving, and a great little dog. He uses a dog door, and is a lot of fun. If interested in Tyler, please submit an application which you can find our our website (www.almostheaven-golden-retriever-rescue.org)

Wren, is a 10 lb, 3-year-old Spayed Female, Chihuahua who recently joined our rescue with eight companions. They came from a shelter in Northern Virginia and are now looking for loving homes. Most are friendly and seek out humans for affection. Wren is a tad shy, and learning that humans are a source of love and affection.  Our intake medical process includes wellness exams, required vaccinations, baseline bloodwork, spayed/neuter, microchip and a dental if needed.  Wren is ready for the next chapter in her life and came from a multi-dog environment, we believe the best home for her would include another confident companion dog to learn from and a secure fenced-in yard. We also believe that older children would be a good fit. Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet. Story
APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) Link is a 9-year old, chihuahua who came to us with his 4 companions from an owner who could no longer care for them. The owner had all 5 of these sweet little souls all their lives. Link is actually the father of two of the chihuahua's, River and Finn. He is a healthy, quiet, little guy weighing just over 11 pounds, and he is a "cuddle bug" Link is neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccinations, microchipped, and he resently had a dental cleaning and with some extractions. He is also crate trained and he knows to do his business outside.  Link is seeking a family or person that is home most of the time and is ready for cuddles and lap time. We believe Link would do best with another companion animal about his size and demeanor.  He is ready for the next chapter in his life: a quiet lovable home with you and your family! They are spay and neutered, up to date on their rabies and distemper vaccinations, microchipped, and resently had a dental cleaning and some extractions as well.
