Hi, I'm Dolly, I'm about 5 yrs old and a TINY thing weighing in at only 4 lbs! I was brought to the shelter when my previous family could no longer care for me, so I need a new home. I'm a very sweet little girl and I adjusted quickly to my new surroundings at the shelter. I love meeting new people, other dogs, playing, and most of all CUDDLING! I am not potty trained, so I will need help with that. I will make a nice addition to any family who is willing to take the time and patience to help me adjust to a new routine in a new home. Ernest Goes To Jail, yes, to my embarrassment and dismay, I was found as a stray and spent some time in the doggie slammer. It seemed like forever!! But thanks to this rescue I got out on good behavior and am ready for that freedom ride! Yes, Ernest Rides Again!!! I'm just hoping your home is my last ride!! I have been working on the whole house and crate training thing and have got it down. I may have spent most of my life outside but I've caught on quickly. I coming to see that this whole living inside with a soft bed and a warm lap to lay on is pretty darn nice!! I would do best in a quiet adult only home. I'm needing my space but will come seeking companionship when I want it. Kinda like a cat in that sense. I do well with other dogs but would prefer a more mellow sibling that isn't too bouncy and constantly in my space. At 9 years and only 11lbs I would make a great family addition for someone that is looking for a great lil guy to chill with them. I'm already out of that destructive stage but still enjoy neighborhood strolls and catching some rays in the backyard. If you're looking for that needy pup that is always under foot seeking you attention, I'm not your boy.
