Story
This sweet girl has quickly won over everyone in her foster home with her loving personality and easygoing nature. She absolutely adores people and has formed a special bond with the family's children, ages 11 and 15. Whether she's handing out kisses, curling up in your lap, or following you around the house, she simply wants to be close to her people.
She enjoys playing with toys and chewing on bones (likely because she's teething) and has just the right amount of puppy energy. She'll happily romp around when it's playtime but is just as content spending the day snuggled up beside you. She's playful without being overly hyper, making her a wonderful balance of fun and cuddly.
She's doing very well with crate training. If she's crated when everyone leaves the house, she may whine for a minute or two before settling down and resting comfortably. However, if she's crated while people are still home, she'll let you know she'd much rather be with you! At night, she prefers sleeping outside of the crate and does wonderfully, sleeping more than eight hours straight without needing to go outside or having any accidents. She currently sleeps with the family's 11-year-old and settles in quietly for the entire night.
She's still learning leash manners and isn't completely comfortable on a leash yet, but she's making great progress with every walk. With a little patience and continued practice, she'll gain even more confidence.
This little girl gets along well with other dogs. She currently lives with a 70-pound Chocolate Lab and is perfectly content sharing her home with him. She's also wonderful with people of all ages. While she may be just a touch shy when meeting someone new, she warms up quickly with a few pets and cuddles, and before long, she's showering everyone with kisses.
One thing her foster family loves is how quiet she is. She rarely barks, even when someone comes to the door. If she's unhappy about something, she'll give a tiny yelp, but overall she's a very calm, quiet puppy.
She's still working on potty training and is doing an excellent job. Accidents have been few and far between, and when they do happen, they're small and manageable. One of the biggest bonuses is that she already sleeps through the night without needing a potty break.
Her foster family believes she'd thrive in almost any loving home. She'd be a wonderful companion for a family with children who want a playful best friend, but she'd also make an amazing lap dog for someone looking for a constant companion to cuddle with, take on car rides, and spend quality time together. The only thing she wouldn't enjoy is spending long hours alone in a crate every day, she truly loves being with people.
She may be tiny, but she has a huge heart and an even bigger personality. With her irresistibly soft face, affectionate nature, and gentle spirit, she's the kind of puppy you fall in love with almost instantly. Her future family is going to be incredibly lucky to call her their own.
