Ernest Goes To Jail, yes, to my embarrassment and dismay, I was found as a stray and spent some time in the doggie slammer. It seemed like forever!! But thanks to this rescue I got out on good behavior and am ready for that freedom ride! Yes, Ernest Rides Again!!! I'm just hoping your home is my last ride!! I have been working on the whole house and crate training thing and have got it down. I may have spent most of my life outside but I've caught on quickly. I coming to see that this whole living inside with a soft bed and a warm lap to lay on is pretty darn nice!! I would do best in a quiet adult only home. I'm needing my space but will come seeking companionship when I want it. Kinda like a cat in that sense. I do well with other dogs but would prefer a more mellow sibling that isn't too bouncy and constantly in my space. At 9 years and only 11lbs I would make a great family addition for someone that is looking for a great lil guy to chill with them. I'm already out of that destructive stage but still enjoy neighborhood strolls and catching some rays in the backyard. Good with kids?: very timid around kids and hides or runs away from them. (Not aggressive at all) He would do well with older/respectful children.
