Story
Sabrina is a 8-year-old Chinese Crested with a huge personality packed into a tiny little body. This goofy girl came from a breeder confiscation case and is finally getting the chance to enjoy life as a spoiled house dog — and she is absolutely loving it. Sabrina is hilarious, spunky, affectionate, and always doing something that will make you laugh. She adores cuddling under the covers, being carried around, stroller rides, and staying as close to her person as physically possible. She is: Great with dogs, cats, and people inside the home Crate trained Partially potty trained and uses weewee pads appropriately Smart and treat motivated Knows sit, spin, and paw Full of personality and silly antics Sabrina can be a little reactive to strangers or wildlife on walks, and because she can get a bit feisty when nervous, she would probably do best in an adult home or one with older, respectful kids. Once inside and comfortable, though, she is incredibly loving and affectionate. Sabrina requires daily eye drops for chronic dry eye. She also needs a little extra skincare maintenance for her naked doggie acne, including weekly medicated baths. Sabrina is not looking for perfection — just someone who will adore her quirks, laugh at her silly personality, and let her spend her days cuddled up right beside them. Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUVR/dog All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Story
Little PupPup is an 7-year-old Chinese Crested with the gentlest soul and the sweetest little face. Rescued from a breeder confiscation case, this tiny girl is finally learning what it means to be loved, spoiled, and safe. She can be a little unsure of the world at first, but with reassurance and patience, she absolutely blossoms. Her favorite place in the world is curled up against her person under the blankets. She wants to be with you 24/7 and would thrive in a home where someone is retired, works from home, or simply wants a constant little companion by their side. Little PupPup is: Great with dogs, cats, and people Crate trained Partially potty trained and uses weewee pads appropriately Learning confidence on leash walks Smart and eager to learn — especially if treats are involved! Knows sit, spin, and paw She does require daily eye drops for chronic dry eye and occasional skin wipe-downs to keep her feeling her best, but she handles her routine well. This sweet girl doesn’t ask for much — just love, cuddles, and someone who understands that after her rough start, she deserves to feel safe forever. Spark is special I got him from a home when he was about five months old and he was being abused. When I got him I had to earn his trust for about a week.. he a nipper at first just because he doesn’t like to be reached for. He doesn’t bite or nip at new people when they come into our home but he does bark like he’s big.. he doesn’t like hats. He like to go on walks to potty never went in his own yard. Small kids aren’t an option because they are touchy and again he has to get to know you before that interaction. He’s a great dog and it’s killing me to have to re home him but at this point I have no option! I have no where to go with him because I have to move and can’t take him where I’m going

Story
This lil 14 pd chi mix came from a hoarding situation on the east coast of Florida. She is unsocialized, needs a quiet home, is not aggressive to people. She just needs time. We just got her so allowing for decompression is very important. Right now an airline crate is her safe space. She has made no attempt to bite just wants to be as small as possible. Fostered in Bradenton. Someone who has experience with hoarding dogs, fearful dogs will be good for this girl. Must have a fenced yard, and another calm dog, not in your face type of dog. We have made some progress 3/7!! Brown is taking food from my hand and will approach you for more!!! She is intimidated by other dogs that are in her face and will stay on the outer circle. Once you have her alone she will approach and take food and actually allow petting. She needs a lot more one on one. She has a habit of spinning in the crate when being fed. Not so concerned about that, it should go away in time. it does not prevent her from eating and she has a good appetite!! Brown needs a very patient foster maybe one other dog. She does crate well prefers an airline crate, She is housebroken and uses a dog door! She needs to learn to walk on lead, get used to being touched, and to trust people. She is a special needs and a project dog. I know there are not many of you out there, but inside this lil gal is a gem of a dog once you win her over. Currently fostered in Bradenton.

Story
Hen is a lovely girl that was in a confiscation situation. We have had her in the rescue for a year!!! She has come a LONG way and is doing great!!! She LOVES other dogs, plays well with them and once she knows you she is super affectionate. I think she will always have a cautious streak in her, from her past, but she is brave and manages to overcome her blocks!! It took us three months for her to come out of her crate and come willingly to us. Now once she knows you she wants to be with you all the time! She still is not wild about being picked up, but she does tolerate it. Totally housebroke, crate trained and yes we are still working on the leash. But it is only going forward. She is a funny girl. Loves to play with toys, and does zoomies in the yard. Rides well in the car in the front seat. She tolerates the vet and just goes limp in situations she is uncomfortable in. With more exposure, socialization and group classes she will only improve. She is a project dog, but will give you her whole heart and soul. Will eventually make a great companion dog, right now she prefers the comfort of her home environ, with added dashes of the new world! Will need a fenced yard, and most importantly another kind playful dog to hang with and be her best friend! Fostered in Bradenton. Will need an adopter or anotehr long term foster who has knowledge of dog behaviour, and lots of patience and love.. This girl only wants to please, and with your help can conquer all those past fears. Make her future a safe and beautiful place!!!
