Sadly, Dan and his family were left behind when their owners moved away. A kind family member brought them to the rescue, giving Dan a second chance at happiness. Because of his past, he may be shy at first, but with a little patience (and a few tasty treats!), he’ll soon reveal his loving and loyal nature. Dan thrives in a calm environment and would do best with a quiet family who can give him the time he needs to build trust. He absolutely adores other dogs and would love a confident canine companion to help show him the ropes and make him feel secure. Meet Cary, affectionately known as Chunkster. He is a chi/terrier mix boy and was the first born in his litter and started off as the largest. His birthday is 10/12He still has the adorable chubby belly, but hasn’t gotten as big as some of his siblings. He is a fun-loving little guy and spends many hours playing with toys and wrestling with his sister. He especially likes following the resident male dog around. Currently weighing almost 5 pounds, he isn’t expected to get too big.
