Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cain is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and is available to come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We do offer trial adoptions for approved adopters. Cain is about 3 years old and has already been though so much. This adorable boy was dumped on a deserted road and when the shelter traced his microchip and called his owners, they never came for him.  Now he's decided that chapter is closed and he's focused on the future. Cain is loving and gentle, he loves kids and soaks up attention from every person he meets.  He is housetrained and good in the car. Cain is a Chinese Crested powderpuff, this means no fur on his body.  This special boy is looking for a family that will never leave him behind again and give him all the love and snuggles he deserves. Cain is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines, he tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450.    Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION! Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Moochie Pie Moochie Pie is a 1½-year-old Chinese Crested weighing about 10 pounds. This sweet boy absolutely adores people—he’s never met a stranger and loves being close, whether that means cuddling on the couch or following you from room to room. He just loves attention! Moochie Pie walks nicely on a leash and is doing great with his house training. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys hanging out with his canine friends just as much as his human ones. One of his cutest quirks? He loves to spin in happy little circles, especially when he’s excited! As a true Chinese Crested, Moochie Pie also has a fondness for his sweaters and is always happy to show off his cozy wardrobe. He came to us after his previous owners were moving and unable to take him, and now he’s ready to find a forever home where he can be loved and included in daily life. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Moochie Pie may be your perfect match. Interested in becoming a forever home for Moochie? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $850. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Meet Dory A Sweet Survivor Looking for Her Fresh Start Hi, I’m Dory — a 2 to 3-year-old, 15-pound pup with a soft heart and a gentle spirit. I was rescued by The Sato Project from a heartbreaking hoarding situation in Manatí, Puerto Rico, where I lived in a home with over 30 other dogs. It was a tough start to life, but I’m finally safe, healthy, and beginning to discover what love and kindness feel like. When I was rescued, my skin was in rough shape, but I’ve been getting medical baths and special care, and I’m healing more every day. My transformation has already begun — and it’s only going to get better from here. I’ll be flying into Morristown, NJ around November 8th, and I’m hoping the next chapter of my life begins with a patient, loving family who understands that I may be a little timid at first. Because of my past, I’ll need a calm, understanding home that will give me time to feel safe and secure. With gentle guidance, I’ll show you just how sweet and loyal I can be. A quiet environment — maybe with another kind dog to help me build confidence — would be a perfect match. If you're looking for a dog who truly deserves a second chance and will love you with her whole heart, I'm ready. Let’s heal and grow together. Story
Meet Gabriel 5–6 years old | 12 lbs | Arriving in Morristown, NJ December 28th Say hello to Gabriel — a small pup with a big personality just waiting to come out. He was rescued by The Sato Project from a heartbreaking hoarding case in Manatí, Puerto Rico, where he lived in a cramped home with more than 30 other dogs. His early life lacked stability, safety, and human kindness — but now, Gabriel has a second chance. After receiving medical care and lots of TLC, Gabriel is now healthy and preparing to fly to Morristown, NJ to find the home he’s always deserved. Gabriel is very shy and timid with new people — he’s not the type to warm up right away. But behind those cautious eyes is a spicy little spirit who’s full of personality once he starts to feel safe. He’ll need a patient, dog-savvy home where he can go at his own pace, without pressure. A quiet environment, ideally with another gentle dog, could help him feel more confident. Gabriel may not be the “instant best friend” kind of dog — but for the right person, he’ll be an incredibly rewarding companion full of charm and character. If you love the shy ones, the quirky ones, the ones who need a little extra time — Gabriel might just be your perfect match. To Adopt: Fill out an application at thesatoproject.org/applicationform. Meet Bear A Sweet, Shy Soul Ready for His Second Chance Hi, I’m Bear — a 2 to 3-year-old, 16-pound pup with a tender heart and a quiet spirit. I was rescued by The Sato Project from a devastating hoarding situation in Manatí, Puerto Rico, where I lived in a small, overcrowded home with over 30 other dogs. It was a scary, uncertain place — but now I’m safe, healing, and learning what love truly feels like. When I was first rescued, my skin was in very bad shape, but I’ve been receiving medical baths and special care, and I’m getting better every day. I may still be a little shy, but I’m also incredibly sweet, and with the right family, I know I’ll continue to bloom. I’m flying into Morristown, NJ around November 8th, and I’m dreaming of a loving, patient home that will give me the time and kindness I need to come out of my shell. A calm environment and possibly a gentle dog friend would help me feel even more secure. If you have a soft spot for shy dogs and the heart to help me feel safe and loved, I would be so grateful for the chance to become part of your family. Bear is ready to start over — with you by his side. To Adopt: Fill out an application at thesatoproject.org/applicationform. Questions?
