Story
He is a purebred Chinese Crested hairless dog at 17 lbs (as a Chinese Crested, he has specific bathing/grooming needs). He has lived with us for 7 months, one child has become very allergic and has asthma. Laslo just turned 5; he is very healthy. He has been kept up to date on all vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He eats both wet and dry food fine, even though he has mostly baby teeth. Per vet: teeth are healthy, not many adult teeth. Laslo is fairly low energy, but loves to go on walks, cuddle and snooze. He is good on a leash but he is a bit of a diva and dislikes the rain or snow. He is scared of cats, so will keep a respectful distance if they live in the house. Anxious in car rides. His original owner hand fed him as a puppy and treated him as a human baby. He became very attached to his original owner, started resource guarding her 2 yr old =a few bites. He has not tried to bite anyone in our home. He may thrive as the only dog in his new home.

"Do you like Velcro dogs?  Are you looking for a shadow/cuddle buddy?  Do you like to take walks?  If so, Gerald and his extra large kissable ears would love to meet you! Gerald demands to be in the presence of his people at all times and gets along with three other dogs of similar size in his current foster home.  Gerald has free run of the house when the humans are not at home and is not destructive.  He enjoys sleeping in the humans' bed and hanging out in the fenced back yard.  Need a watchdog? Gerald has a seal-like bark that makes him sound larger than he truly is.  Although initially suspicious of strangers and visitors, Gerald warms up quickly and settles down with bribes of treats and attention.  He thrives on human interaction and just wants to give and receive love. Gerald is estimated to be about a 7 year old (as of August 2025) chihuahua / Jack Russel terrier mix that weighs around 16 pounds. Gerald is currently being fostered in the Lancaster, PA area and would love to meet his forever family. Gerald has a little bit of hair loss due to a previous flea allergy. With or without the fur, Gerald is a handsome guy. He is good with other dogs that are his size. He is still active, although not as playful as the younger pups. He would do best in a home without cats, as his prey drive kicks in when he sees the foster's cats. Gerald is house trained. We would love for Gerald to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely, however it is not a requirement. Gerald is up to date on his shots and neutered. Meet Rocco: Rocco is estimated to be about a 2 year old (as of December 2025) chihuahua mix (best guess) that weighs 16 pounds. Rocco was found as a stray around some garbage cans looking for food. Rocco is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Rocco has a very sweet personality. Rocco gets along well with other dogs. Rocco can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Rocco loves snuggling in your lap and is a really sweet boy. Due to Rocco’s size, we would recommend a home with children over 7 or children with dog experience. Rocco is house trained and prefers to cuddle in bed at night with you. We would love for Rocco to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely, but it is not a requirement. Rocco is up to date on his shots and neutered. Meet Daisy: Daisy is about a 3 year old (as of November 2025) chihuahua / shepherd mix (best guess?) that weighs about 21 pounds. Daisy was taken in by Animal Control in Memphis this fall. Daisy was underweight and neglected and had to be fattened up before she could go through surgery to be spayed. Daisy is currently being fostered in Leola, PA area and would love to meet her forever family. Daisy is a shy, laid back, wonderful dog. Daisy is a gentle and affectionate dog. Daisy was originally wary of people when we first pulled her from the shelter, but quickly became acclimated to having attention and is now a remarkably loving and gentle pet. Daisy doesn't bark and gets on well with other dogs in her foster home. Daisy would be great with kids of all sizes and will make a loving pet. Daisy is house trained to a doggie door and may need some patience while adjusting to a new method. Daisy is up to date on her shots and spayed.
