Story

Dougle’s a 10yo 12lb Chinese Crested. He’s calm small dog friendly. He’ll need work on house training but will wear diapers. He is used to his fosters secure fenced in yard and working on leash walking. He’s learning to play with toys. He’s a sweet, snuggly boy. Dougle MUST be able to cuddle and sleep with his person along with being given leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training and if another dog in the home needs to be small, laid back and not in his face. If your home DOES NOT fit this please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone not a fit. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Dougle’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently fostered in Churchville, PA. Story

Rascal’s a 2yo 12lb Powder Puff Chinese Crested mix. He’s calm dog and kid 13+ friendly. He’s pee pad trained, will need work on house training and is crate trained. He’d be good in a secure fenced in yard and or going for harness leashed walks with some work. He loves toys, is very cuddly and affectionate. He came from a hoarding situation and is doing good learning to be a dog. Rascal MUST have a quiet, calm adult only home with people who will give leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. Story

Nyx came to us as a surrender with hydrocephalus. She was the runt of the litter and was having a hard time eating and surviving with her littermates. We took her in and we were able to get her to eat and our vet evaluated her - diagnosis confirmed of hydrocephalus but no treatment needed. She also has an under developed left eye that we aren't sure if she can see out of - if she can it's most likely just shadows. Nyx is different. I don't know how to put it other than that (in the spirit of full disclosure). Her "wires are crossed". I think the hydrocephalus has affected her in ways that I will explain here: She loves other dogs but doesn't know how to "play" with them. She will jump on them and bite them trying to get them to play with her. But when it's naptime or bedtime she will cuddle up and sleep on them. I think she enjoys their company but doesn't know how to effectively communicate with them. She will let you pick her up on her terms. She doesn't bite or even try to bite you but will run when you are trying to get her to pick her up (she will come to you when she wants to). She is a very sweet, lovely dog who is "special" in her own way and I know she will make someone very happy! Someone who can love something special and accept her just the way she is. Laci is probably one of "the sweetest and bestest" girls ever! She is lowkey and loves being a couch potato. When Laci gets a burst of energy, she likes to play with toys and interact with her foster siblings. She does require a daily medication which costs approximately $15 per month. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Welcome Miss Daisy to Pet Path! This little lady is soooo sweet and very confident. She is such a doll. Not sure of her mix but guessing Chihuahua and probably several other breeds. Her coat is medium length. She’s got the most gorgeous pair of knee high boots that nature can provide. That’s good news. She’s fashionable already and you don’t have to spend money on fashion statements. Her boots were made for walking but we are hoping someone will want to drive Miss Daisy home. Great with other dogs and older children (because of her size) she is tiny at about 10-12 lbs and about 1-1.5 years old. She was surrendered by her owners because they are older and could not keep up with her needs. She is just a young energetic little lady. Apply at petpath.org

Meet Bella. She is located East TN, but if you’re seeing this on adopt a pet transport fees are included in the adoption fee. Out of state adopters are welcomed. Transport is available to your area in the north east or Great Lakes areas. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Meet Bella. She will freeze your thoughts, feelings and your heart with her frosty ice blue eyes. She is a beautiful energetic little lady. She’s pretty young around 2-3 years old with lots of energy. She does great with other dogs of her size or even larger ones too. She is fearful and snippy if she is in a crate meeting you for the first time. She’s just terrified and shaking. If you just sit with her a few seconds she jumps on your lap to make friends and all is good. Took her a whole three minutes to trust us and she was golden after that. Story

Maxx is an almost 8 year old 10 lb Chihuahua mix and is as sweet as can be! He’s very chill and would rather couch surf than play! He goes for walks but short ones. He gets along with all size dogs in the house and yard but will bark at strange dogs when on the leash. He loves fuzzy blankets and will spend a lot of time “fixing” them just right before he lays down on them. He is very docile and enjoys being loved on. He may be a bit hesitant at first but very soon he’ll be right by your side! My financial situation has disrupted my life to the point that I can no longer afford to own a pet. I have to find the perfect place for Maxx. A visit is required to meet Maxx. A home visit is also required. If you have other pets we need to introduce them. I don’t know how he is with cats. I also needs references. Your Vet can be one and also a personal one. You will have to agree to give Maxx back to me if for some reason it doesn’t work out.
