Story
Hello, I can absolutely go into more detail and answer questions but this Phoebe! She is 50% Chow Chow, 30% American Cattle Dog, and 20% German Shepherd. Phoebe is the most loyal dog you will ever come across. Good luck trying to do anything without her wanting to be by your side. She is incredibly attached and a beautiful 5 year old girl. She was rescued from PACC after being surrendered with a few other dogs. She is very well house trained once she understands her routine and feeding schedule. Her notes say she gets along with dogs but that has not been my experience. Phoebe is highly stressed around other dogs and sometimes people. I believe she can be the best dog in the world but I no longer am able to provide the time and energy she needs. She does have a lifetime commitment with bark busters but I haven’t verified if it transfers over. Overall, I believe she needs a home with a yard.

Story
Butternut is a cautious young gal looking for a home with a family who will give her time and space to settle in. She spent about a month and a half in a foster home- here’s what we learned:- She’s a quiet houseguest but will bark her happiness in anticipation of dinner - She did well with other resident dogs - She is non- destructive and well- behaved when left home alone- She is house trained- She likes to catch treats in the air, enjoys snuffle mats and is curious and playfulHere’s what one of Butternut’s volunteer advocates said:“I worked with Butternut this morning. She has made clear progress. Walks well but a little slowly. She was willing to approach for treats held in my fingers and with some work I was able to establish touch and get some scratches in. Good walk back and easy unleash.”Butternut shares her kennel with another PACC pup and would likely do best with a confident furry friend to help her adjust in her future home. When meeting other dogs in playgroup she’s been social, tolerant and easygoing. Please ask about Butternut today!
