He came to us as a stray, and while he is microchipped, his previous owner was unfortunately unable to pick him up—so now Zeus is looking for a new family to call his own. Staff have been consistently impressed with Zeus’s friendly, well-mannered nature. He’s easy to walk on leash, takes handling like a pro, and is very tolerant during exams and day-to-day interactions. Zeus has shown no interest in other dogs, making him a great candidate for a home where he can focus on bonding with his people. True to his breed, Zeus is composed, observant, and quietly affectionate once he feels comfortable. He’d thrive with adopters who appreciate the Akita’s loyal, steady personality and are ready to give him the structure and love he deserves. If you’re looking for a well-behaved, easygoing companion with movie-star looks and a gentle soul, Zeus might just be your guy. 💙
