Story
Hi there! My name is Luka, your best friend! My besties at OHS say I am a friendly, happy, silly, and handsome boy who is sure to make you smile and bring so much love into your life! I may be big, but that won't stop me from trying to be a lap dog. Snuggling with hoomans is just the best feeling ever!I LOVE to go on adventures, run, and explore! Being so high energy means I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish. I am also a pretty eager guy as I get so stoked for walks that I tend to pull. I can't help it; walkies are so much fun!My sense of adventure is so great that I have a history of escaping doors by bolting through them when they open. You will need to keep an eye on me when you open doors as I may want to visit the neighbors! I am super smart and love to learn though! Some treats and positive reinforcement would be a great way to work on this with me (and become fast friends!)While I love my people/friends, I can be shy and nervous around new people, new surroundings and handling. Including but not limited to medical/grooming and restraint. I will need someone who can help offer a little extra guidance and patience in these situations. Kids can overwhelm me too so I need to go to an adult only home.I am what people like to call an attention hog and love all eyes, ears, and pets on me! This means I can be picky about my dog friends and will need to meet any large canine companions prior to getting adopted. I must go to a home without cats, small dogs, livestock, and small animals. I can have a hard time sharing. I have a history of resource guarding my food from people. I love treats so the best way to work on this is to swap out whatever I have with something yummy. Have I mentioned I love treats? Hotdogs and cheese may or may not be my favorite ;)Being such a silly, fun, amazing, high energy boy, I require quite a bit of time and patience. I work best with structure and routine (and treats hehe). If you're interested, I would love to meet you! I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here. Be prepared to pay the cheese tax though, I'll be waiting! Primary Color: Liver Secondary Color: Cream Weight: 83.4 Age: 2yrs 7mths 2wks

Story
Looking to Re-Home Two Siberian Husky mixes. Boo & Wazowski are brother and sister and have been together since birth. They’re just under 2 years old (born January 3rd) and are extremely bonded, so they must stay together. They’re great around adults, kids, and other dogs. They can be a little nervous at first, but they warm up quickly and are very sweet once comfortable. Both are in excellent health, fixed, and up-to-date on their shots. They have lived primarily outdoors, so they aren’t fully house trained yet, but they have been indoors for short periods and have never been destructive. They are crate trained. As northern breeds, they do have the typical traits: • Can be little escape artists (but have never actually run away) • Boo loves to dig • They’re great at hunting field mice and small rodents • Active, smart, and playful They’ve lived with five other dogs with no issues. We have to move closer to the city and can’t take them with us, so we’re looking for a loving, stab

Story
The votes are IN and we ARE the WINNERS!! Found at the side of a country road (very common dumping ground, next to the railroad tracks), and saved by a wonderful "foster" and her husband and son and other doggy friends :) We started living like REAL loved puppies the day she saved us!! We are learning potty training and are crate trained experts!! We are leash training as well, but you have to understand.... we were never loved, never lived IN a home and NEVER had ANYONE CARE!!! So, potty trained or not, we are over the moon (and so is our foster mom). But now it is time to find our furever homes! We love and play very well together and would be ideal as a pair, but do NOT have to be adopted together. We need another calm and confident dog to keep us happy/played with and to teach us all we need to know about being loved pups :) We are gorgeous pups and our coats will accent your hair :) ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
