Story
Kaylani is a sweet pup I found standing in the road at a stop light looking into vehicles. At first I passed her by but went back later and she was still in the road. She was hesitant to get in my vehicle. I think she was hoping for her owner to come back. :( when she did get in, she knew how. She is behaved in the house and is Ok in the yard but I know it is hot for her out there in Texas heat. I have cats in a fenced area in my yard and she seems interested in them but doesn’t bark or scare them. I have seen her chase a small snake out of my yard and chase a possum out of my yard so she has earned her keep :) she needs someone to love. She is always so happy to see me. I can’t give her the attention she needs.

Story
Meet Tango! 🐾Tango is a brave little Akita mix with a big heart and an even bigger story. This sweet pup was abandoned at the gate of our shelter when he was just 3 weeks old—tiny, helpless, and all alone. But with lots of love and care, Tango has grown into a playful, curious, and cuddly companion who’s now ready for a forever home. Tango may have had a rough start, but you’d never know it from his joyful spirit. He’s full of puppy energy, loves snuggles, and is learning all about the world with wide-eyed wonder. He’d do well in a home ready for the fun (and responsibility!) of raising a puppy and giving him the training, socialization, and love he deserves. If you`re looking for a loyal friend with a heart of gold and a fresh start ahead, Tango might just be your perfect match. Come meet him and see if your home is the happy ending he’s been waiting for.*To make an appointment to meet Tango, please complete your application at this link: https://PetsFurPeople.org/pre-application/ Follow it up with a phone call. Story
Say Hello to Foxtrot! Foxtrot is a Akita mix with a gentle soul and a resilient spirit. Like her brother Tango, she was abandoned at just 3 weeks old—left at the gate of our shelter far too young. But this little fighter has come a long way, and now she’s ready to find a forever family to call her own. Foxtrot is sweet, snuggly, and just a little bit sassy in the most adorable way. She loves attention, tummy rubs, and is already showing signs of being both smart and sensitive. She`s the kind of pup who will follow you around the house and look at you like you`re her whole world. Foxtrot will thrive in a home that’s ready for puppy love, training, and the joy of watching her grow into the beautiful dog she’s meant to be. Her journey is just beginning—could it lead to you?*To make an appointment to meet Foxtrot, please complete your application at this link: https://PetsFurPeople.org/pre-application/ Follow it up with a phone call.
