Story
Sweet Rose came to us from another shelter as she was about to be euthanized. She is a beauty of a dog, she loves to sing the songs of her people, she has a huge husky vocabulary. If you like the husky personality, this dog is for you. She gets along with other dogs, particularly male dogs, but she is still very playful and this can sometimes get on another dog's nerves. She is house trained, and gets along with kids. Seems nonplussed by cats, but she may chase them.

This big, beautiful boy has a gentle soul and a calm, loyal nature that Akitas are known for. Butterball Boyd is still settling into his new surroundings, but he’s already showing what a sweet and affectionate companion he can be. He enjoys attention from his people, walks well on leash, and would love a home where he can feel secure and loved. We were told he gets along with other dogs but seems a little to interested in out clinic cat, so probably would be best in a canine only home! He does best with an adopter who understands larger breeds and can give him structure, patience, and plenty of love. After everything he’s been through, Butterball Boyd deserves a second chance at a happy life.
