You will not be able to walk in and visit the dog unless you have been contacted, Bosco is a 15 pound Dachshund that was brought in as a stray. He can be very cautious with strangers, but will warm up after trust has been established. We are recommending that he go home with adults only and experienced pet owners. We are not sure how he will do with other dogs, so he would need to be tested with existing dogs that live in the home. We are also unsure on cats. His date of birth is estimated to be 12/1/21. His fee is $125 and is not subject to reduced adoption specials.HSPC's adoption fee is currently reduced from $100 to $75 unless stated otherwise within the pet's description. Every pet that is available for adoption has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including heartworm preventative (canines). Adopters are required to schedule a wellness exam with their veterinarian at their cost within 7 days of adoption.
