Story
Brooklyn is a one year old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix).  30 pounds- and yes, she needs to be on a diet!  Good with other dogs and all the people she meets, including children.  Adopter will be required to have her spayed and brought up to date on her vaccines and testing. Brooklyn is in our direct-from owner program.  Chesed Rescue will background and vet check all applicants and adoption will be directly from the owner.  There will be no adoption fee, though donations to the rescue are appreciated. Story
This little guy is 14-16 years old and cute as a button!  His mom is moving into a nursing home where he unfortunately can't join her.  Tuki is already fixed and good with some other dogs.  Has a "grumpy old man" vibe, but is a gentle boy. Tuki is in our direct from owner program, meaning that Chesed Rescue will process all adoption applications but Tuki will be adopted directly from his current family.  No fees for adoption (though we always appreciate donations to the rescue). Applications for Tuki are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions.  We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.  December 3, 2025, 7:26 pm

Story
Say hello to Teddy, a chi mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for life! This little guy is the definition of a cuddle bug, if physical affection were an Olympic sport, Teddy would take home the gold. Teddy is fully housebroken and potty trained- he'll even let you know when it's time to head outside like the polite gentleman he is. He's a pro at "sit, lay down, and wait" and on a good day, you might even get a roll over or a high five (especially if treats are involved- this boy will do anything for snacks). Teddy is crate trained as well! When he's not charming you with his tricks, Teddy's favorite hobbies include sunbathing, napping and hanging out at the dog park- his happy place! He gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes, but prefers to keep his distance from cats (no feline roommates, please). In great health, Teddy is the perfect combo of sweet, smart loyal and low maintenance. Teddy will be right there, your loyal little shadow with a wagging tail. If your looking for a small dog with a huge personality, who will make everyday feel warmer and brighter- Teddy's your guy.
