Allie is a 5 year old Chiweenie. She is house trained and also uses puppy pads. She's sweet but very nervous. It takes her a little bit to warm up to strangers. She's not mean or aggressive, but will hide and show fear if you try to pick her up until she gets comfortable. She gets along with my chihuahua and cat, but is jealous and I think she'd prefer to be an only child, lol. She needs a calm home.

Poor little Tater. He was surrendered to a shelter in North Florida an transported to our rescue. He was adopted for less than a month until her adopter injured her leg causing her to be unable to care for him so she recently returned him. Now Tater Tot is afraid that he'll be abandoned so he follows his foster mom everywhere. This little 10 lb, 10 year old dog a ts like a puppy when leashed for a walk so his "pulling on the leash" is something that we're working on. Due to cataracts, he has some vision loss. Tater Tot has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He's current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Tater's adoption fee is $50. Dexter is a 4-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund (chi-weenie) mix weighing approximately 26 pounds. He came to us when his owner died and he was being kept in a tiny cage. He is timid but has come a long way. He loves to play tug of war and he is very strong. He gets along with the other dogs but has not been cat or kid-tested. He is friendly and lovable when he gets to know you. His adoption donation is $250 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He is heartworm-negative and on monthly prevention.
