Story
Nelson is fostered in Boynton Beach Fl, on the east coast- Nelson is an adorable, lovable 12 pound nugget of a dog. He is a chihuahua mix about 2years old, with a shiny seal-like black coat with brown highlights, a big white star on his chest and white tips on his toes. He has luminous dark brown eyes. Nelson was dumped in the overnight box at Palm Beach County Animal Control, alone and terrified. In the morning when staff opened the box he jumped out and began running through the parking lot. Staff cornered him and he nipped once out of fear, without breaking skin. Terrified by the noise and strangeness, and given no enrichment or play time, Nelson was depressed, refused to eat, and was scheduled for euthanasia. Luckily, a rescue stepped up. Nelson is not dangerous- he si the wiggliest, friendliest, tail wagging most loving dog I've ever met. He play bows anddoes "chase" with our twolittle dogs. He snuggles, he cuddles and gives endless kisses. He can chill while you relax. He loves to go on long walks and walks beautifullywith a harness, solo orwith another dog. Heis 100% housebroken - I slept until 11:30 with him nestled bymy feet and he did not wake me or make amess. He eatswell and couldgain another pound or two. Nelson is as sweet as sugar and would be a good fit for any family except I would not pair him with veryyoung children due to his size. He gets along well with other dogs and is not cat tested. This beautiful little "love bug deserves a loving forever home where he will be cherished, not abandoned- if you are interested In adopting a cute little guy please fill out the application online. Mario is a perfect gentleman and is 9LBS- 5 years old. Will be fine by himself and loves kisses and his butt scratched. Housebroken and will let you know when it is time to go. Friendly with other dogs and no bad behavior on the leash. Not pulling. Perfect traveling companion. He got a full dental already. No separation anxiety. $450.00 is his adoption fee, please remember the fee includes the dental. Perfectly trained. He is heartworm positive and going through the treatment. Please note it is not contagious to other pets.

Bo is a good boy! Would do great with a little friend or by himself. He is very grateful after what he has been through- Bo was in a shelter and could not handle it. He was frightened. Need to loose some LBS, he would look so great!!! Doesn't not need a dental. Does little twirly dances and sick attention. Smiley boy. He was adopted at the shelter originally in 2021 then brought back due to loss of home. How sad!!! Poor little Bo!!! He is believed to be 4 years old and 16LBS - Good with other dogs. Happy friendly little guy and handsome. Loves to sit with you on your lap. Adoption fee is $280.
