Meet Petey! This sweet sad faced boy is Petey and he is bound to win over your heart with his loving nature. Petey is only about 22 lbs. He is about 8 months old so he will not get much bigger. Petey's parents resemble chiweenie mixes. He loves to play with other dogs. He can be quite shy, but gets comfortable in a day or so. He is new to foster care so he is learning all the new things like potty training and crate training, but he's doing great and already knows the dog door! He is a very mellow boy, we joke that he is an old man at heart and loves to hang out with his people once he is comfortable, but also romps around with other dogs for play time. If Petey's soft eyes stole your heart please apply below! Neuter, microchip, and current vaccines are all included in his adoption fee. We adopted Fiona from the humane society a year after our other dog passed away. She is between 3 - 4 years old and has a sweet face to match her sweet personality. She does very well with our grandchildren, but may be wary of other kids. She can take a while to get used to new people. She loves being with her people, whoever she chooses as her people. She loves going on walks and does very well on a leash. She loves to play ball but not too long. She is house trained and is very good in the car. She is well behaved when we would go into the store and leave her, not barking or destroying the car. Usually, she just takes a nap! She does not like being left home alone though. So I am looking for someone who wants a companion - she will want to be with you all the time. If you want that, Fiona would be a good match.
